Hi.

Planning a future stay and considering the cabins or a WL villa, and have a few questions.
Can you walk/ride bikes from WL to FW? If yes, how long?
If staying at FW (or WL), can you use WL (or FW) ammenities, such as the pool?
Have you found the buses SRO/vey crowded if staying at FW? (they pick up WL first, right?)
How long to walk/ride bike from cabin loops near entrance to back of FW?
Is the murphy bed in the cabins comfy?
Can you bring an extra grill to use at the cabins?

Wow, that's alot of questions! TIA for all your help!:goodvibes

I can answer some, our favorite way to go from FW to WL and back is via boat. We find the boat ride relaxing and enjoying. The boat will also take you to the Contemporary (which we also do) and MK.

Yes, you can walk or ride a bike to WL/FW, length- don't know haven't done it

We never take the buses. We always take the boat, because the boat goes to MK, you can hope on the monorail there. If we need to go somewhere not by boat, we will drive.

That's all I can answer, but everyone here is super informational so you will get all your questions answered

The path is about a mile long. Very pleasant, but not well lit, so better in the daytime

No pool hopping, however, you can use all of the other amenities at the Fort if staying at WL, (Campfire, scheduled kids games, horse rides, buggy rides, restaurant, marina, bike barn rentals, etc.) If staying at the Fort, you can use everything at WL, except the pool (Fitness club with fee, restaurants, marina, tours, surrey rentals, etc.)

Have you found the buses SRO/vey crowded if staying at FW? (they pick up WL first, right?)

That's the one nice thing about Ft. Wilderness/WL is I have RARELY had to stand on a bus at Ft. Wilderness. Sometimes the buses share with WL, sometimes there is a dedicated bus, the dropoff/pickup order seems to vary
How long to walk/ride bike from cabin loops near entrance to back of FW?
The Fort is 1 mile from one end to the other. I would say the bike ride from the cabins on the sidewalks is no more than 3/4 mile to the marina from any cabin
Is the murphy bed in the cabins comfy?
Haven't stayed at the cabins, so I don't know
Can you bring an extra grill to use at the cabins?
As long as you use charcoal or gas, I don't see why not. They don't want open wood fires though

Wow, that's alot of questions! TIA for all your help!:goodvibes
