Is there a bus that will take you from the Fort to Universal? What would be the easiest way besides driving. Thanks! Heading to FW in couple weeks so excited woohoo!

No bus or mass transit. You'll need to call a taxi or Uber. Disney and Universal have no interest in having their customers be able to go back and forth, so they don't make it easy!

Weird question but as I know nothing about Uber how do you recognize them when they arrive? Do they have signs like a taxi? Are they always around? or would I order one online. I guess we would go to where the buses are in front of FW? but how do I know they are an Uber lol :rolleyes2

Uber is super easy - download the AP into your cell phone and go from there. We did Uber XL OKW to Universal and back for about $16-$18 each way if I remember. Get a referral code and you can probably get your first ride free or something like that. PM me your email and I can send a referral invite.
Read here to get more familiar https://www.uber.com/

Does Uber offer any vehicles that hold 5 adults and 2 children passengers?

I believe you can choose uberX, uberXL, or UberSELECT. Basically, a car, a minivan, or a black sedan/limo.
We had 6 adults and used uberXL without issue. You can also request child seats I think....

Uber is the way to go, we priced a cab and it would have been about $70 round trip.
WOW! $70????

It's been a while since I have had to use (or pay for) a cab. I think last time a took a cab that was about a 10 mile trip and it was less then $20 with TIP. Granted that was over 20 years ago. Glad I don't have to worry about it now. :)

Somewhat related - anyone know the parking fee at Universal these days? I'm wondering if Uber is almost a wash with parking fees.

Thanks for all the replies. I see there's bus parking, has anyone drove their motorhome to US? We have a smaller 25 ft van RV and would like to just drive over but I would need to run the generator and I see that as a potential problem.

I don't think it would be a problem. The RV's park in there own area. Unless your generator is overly loud like some of the cars kids drive these days. :car:
