FW in Feb?

I'm thinking about booking a trip for Feb 12th staying in a cabin. Any clue on weather and crowds? We normally go in the Fall so I'm not quite sure what to expect in the Winter.

It's a toss up for February weather. We have been in February twice. One time the weather was nice, wore light jackets in the morning and by afternoon it was warm. The last time we went (Feb 2010), we FROZE our tookusses off! I had only packed for warmer weather remembering the last time we went. The day we left for WDW, it snowed here in Georgia and the cold weather followed us.

Yuppers, I agree with Loves.
Feb. really is a toss up,,I normally expect cooler weather, BUT bring some clothes for the warm dayz.
Expect colder nights with warm days and you should be good.

That's how the weather is in NC. Some days it's cold, other days it can be in the 70's. I guess I will just plan to bring a little bit of everything. My husband will LOVE that!

We have been twice in February and the weather was great, this past year we wore shorts and t-shirts the whole week. We ARE from upstate NY so if it was above 30 degrees and no snow on the ground in February we are happy!

I have been once in February.
I was there for a week over Valentines Weekend in 2000.
The weather that year was gorgeous.
As I remember it was pretty busy at that time.
I think maybe a lot of locals celebrating Valentines Day with their sweeties.

I should have added, that no matter the weather at the Fort in February, it will be better than it is here in Southeastern PA. Without a doubt.
