Has there been anything official on this? I think I have seen that this may be the last year at HS but they may move to another location.

Nothing official at all.

In 2012 it was rumored that there would be no lights in 2013.
In 2013 it was said that there would be no lights in 2014.

So, in 2014...

To flesh this out...

There is little doubt that the large, mostly ignored space in DHS that is taken up by "Streets of America" will be converted for use as some new DHS attraction(s.) They'd have to tear down the building facades and close the "streets."

When that happens, the staging area (Streets of America) for the O-lights will be gone.

That means that Disney would have to find another logical and suitable space to install and display the O-Lights,
or the Lights would have to not be available, at least
for a year or two or more, until another space can be created for them, if that
is even in Disney's future plans for the O-Lights.

This is the reason for the yearly speculation that the current year (whatever year that may be)
will be the last year of the O-Lights (at least for awhile.)

Were just hoping for one more year. We made 2015 reservations for Oct 30 to Nov 8. Staying at Fort Wilderness and planing to do Halloween and then catch the start of the Christmas stuff.

Since Disney knows that at some point the lights are going to have to be taken off of display (at least temporarily) or moved, hopefully they are already working on a plan and logistics. It is such a hugely popular holiday attraction it would be really disappointing if they disappeared, even just for a year or two. It would be nice when the time comes if they just smoothly transition them to a new space. Of course WDW planning isn't always what we would hope. At least it's not the IT department that's in charge of the display
