So, I thought I'd start a thread on funny things kids say/do at Disney.

We haven't gone yet but my kids say that Elsa and Anna are their friends and they can't wait to kiss them..lol

any funny stories to share?

When my DS17 was 5 we took him to WDW for the first time. At the end of the trip he told us he no longer wanted to be an astronaut when he grew up. He now wanted to be Mickey Mouse so he could be the boss of the world. We have not let him forget that!

aww so cute!

My dd trip when she was about 5 we were visiting Ariel in the old Grotto. Ariel asked her who her special person was, dd responded Eric! Ariel laughed and said I think he very special too.

My dgs was just over two the first face to face with Mickey up in the Barn area. When it was his turn to meet he got down on his hands and knees creeping toward Mickey. Mickey squatted down reached out his hand and grasped dgs hand. A huge smile and they were instant friends.

Pocahontas reached up and grabbed his dad's arm telling him what a big strong man he was.
Disney is about memories.

When my son was 3 he was going through a delayed terrible two's phase. We took an afternoon pool break at AKL where he was being a monster. Before heading out to dinner we had a talk about behaving at dinner. As a reminder, at the end of our conversation, I asked him, "What are you going to be?" (Expecting him to say "good"). He said "have" (as in "be-have"! Ha!)

We took our niece to WDW to celebrate her 6th birthday. A new nice young man who was a CM from France spoke with her and when we left she hugged him and said "I'll never forget you." Not funny really, but very, very dear.

During our first trip my DD was 18 mths old- we took her and her 4 yr old brother (at the time) to Chef Mickeys- when the first character (Donald) came up to our table to visit DD SCREAMED and smacked him in the face. Whole restaurant was watching- and I have it on video. OOPS! It was hilarious at the time, and still makes me laugh

Walking through HS and my DH and I heard a little girl saying loudly and repeatedly to her mother-- "NO, MOMMY, NOT THE BUTT!"

NO idea what was going on, but we had the hardest time keeping a straight face while we passed them. :lmao:
