Also how far out of San fran are you looking to Drive?

Well in l.a i guess we're looking for just about anything haha, it's my little brother who's 7 and i, 15, and my parents.

I was just in California visiting schools.
I say if you're in San Francisco, you should check out the Walt Disney Family Museum near by, I haven't seen it yet.

I'm just happy going wherever in the LA area, so I'm afraid I'm not much help.

i live in nor cal and know a lot of things to do... but it really depends what you like to do. disney land, universal, legoland, alcatraz, oceanside... pier 39 is a must hit tho...

There is an amazing thing you can do that's only a few hours away from San Fran. I did it and it was soooooooo cool.
It's a canopy tour, I'm pretty sure it's the only one in the country. It's like the ones in other countries(Like Costa Rica and he Amazon), it's a course of zip lines and air bridges way high in the canopy of the red woods. If you're planning on doing something really cool you should seriously consider it.
Here's the site, explore around it and see for yourself. It explains it and there are videos and pictures and stuff.

Also, just going around San Fran is a lot fun. I suggest the japanese tea garden, it's absolutely gorgeous and definitely worth a visit.
If you're going to spend a whole day there I suggest you get transport passes. They let you ride all the public transportation for the whole day. So trolleys, trams, busses, ext.

i actually life like 10-15 minutes away from d-land, and I'm sure you've heard of knotts berry farm, sea world, san diego zoo, and the discovery center (i think thats what its called). anyways, at disneyland there is A LOT to do, and i mean A L O T! Make sure you see world of color (TOTALY WORTH IT!!!) but you have to get the ticket when the park opens. the ticket is a grizzly river run fastpass, and you might have to tand in line for a little bit, but in the end, its totaly worth it! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes
