Fun places to go in Pleasure Island?

Does anybody have a favourite place to go in Pleasure Island?

Club / bar / comedy club... anything!!

I've read the names of Pleasure Island places many times, but don't really know what sort of places they are, or if they're fun...

I'm up for anything really! I like a dance every now and then (although usually after a few drinks), and I love a laugh, and sometimes there's nothing nicer than sitting in a little bar with a nice cocktail!

It will just be my 27 year old BF and me (25), and we love anything fun, so.... suggestions most welcome!!

Lat time, my fiance and I went to the Adventurer's Club, and it was great!!!! It's a little bit like a comedy club, but the theming is like a 1900's gentlemen club (not the playboy kind!) in England. It's really funny, and the theming is amazing! If you don't want to see the different "shows" you can just walk around... it was great!

I've never been to the Comedy Wharehouse or the Adventurers Club, but I've been to everywhere else. I like 8-Trax the best. Its a fun place, and they play music from the 70's & 80's. Since you pay cover to get into PI and not to the individual clubs, walk around and check out all of them. Mannequins is pretty cool and worth checking out as well.

I'll second the Adventurer's Club. It's tons of fun if you allow yourself to "play along."

Have been to Pleasure Island 3 times in a space of 15 years. For me it seems to go more and more downhill...

Went to the comedy club and just didnt find the whole thing as funny as it used to be. Maybe its the current "cast".
Adventures Club is really well themed and if you havent been before certainly the most unique - you have to became part of the action to enjoy it most.

Think I enjoyed 8-Trax the best playing 70's and 80's vid's on a big screen.

Manequins was playing techno the last time I went and has a moving dance floor.

Adventurers Club for me. Love that place.

I also used to enjoy the Jazz Club, but I can't anymore, unfortunately. They had some great music in there.

"Mannequins Dance Palace – It's a dance revolution at this pulsating, flashing nightclub that includes a huge dance floor which actually rotates as you gyrate to the throbbing sounds of techno-trance tunes."

Its a cool place, if you are into those types of clubs. If house music isn't your thing you might want to skip it. But like I said, you can walk in and out and it doesn't cost you anything.

Is there anything left at Pleasure Island? The pictures on Mouseplanet this week showed quite a bit of demolition.

Absolutely the Adventurers Club! We were just there Saturday night and it's definately a "must do" for us every time we go (which is about every other month or so). Be aware though that once you get there you're going to probably stay there until it closes down!
