Hi, I want to take a date night with my dh on our upcoming trip. Looking for a fun place, could be romantic, but I'm not looking for it to be free of children or anything since its Disney World after all. I may be out of luck since our trip is in less than two weeks, but any recs would be appreciated.

I would really recommend Raglan Road at Downtown Disney. Great atmosphere, great food and a few fun suprises at dinner. Its grown up but still fun :)

I agree with the PP. For fun, I'd check out Raglan Road or Kouzzina. An added bonus to Kouzzina is that you can easily follow it with drinks at Jellyrolls, which, in my opinion, is the most fun to be had on Disney property.

My girlfriend and I usually have a nice date night once a trip, which is weird since we don't have kids so every night is still a date night, but we designated this as our date night. A round of mini-golf at Fantasia Gardens (walking distance from Swan/Dolphin or the Boardwalk), dinner at Flying Fish, drinks and singing at Jellyrolls the rest of the night. It really makes for a fun night away from the parks. You could substitue Flying Fish for Shula's or bluezoo at the Dolphin. :thumbsup2

i was going to say ohana... then i saw you're going in 2 weeks :(

i also see that #3 is arriving in october! congratulations!!

i would suggest:
grand floridian cafe -- we love to walk around and enjoy the GF
kona cafe -- the poly grounds are beautiful too!
chefs de france -- great food and atmosphere
san angel inn -- great food and atmosphere

or if you want a signature:
yachtsman steakhouse
california grill
citricos

I would agree with the previous post that California grill is a great choice for a date night! The views of magic kingdom are great! Also, Jiko at animal kingdom lodge is a really good option!

The only thing with CG is that if you plan on doing it, check the MK calander and make sure the night you plan your date night isn't a Grad Night. Wishes doesn't go on durring Grad Nights and in all honesty, without Wishes, CG doesn't make for much of a date night. It tends to have more kids and is louder than most signatures.

Jiko is another good option. It tends to be a relaxing, quiet and more romantic atmosphere. There are also things you can do while at AKL, like get a drink and sit out by the fire pit or watch the animals in the savanah with night vision goggles. Last time there was nothing on the dessert menu that tickled our fancy, so we headed to Ghirardelli's at DTD, which is AMAZING if you haven't tried.

I guess in the end, OP, you first have to decide if you want your date night to be active and fun or more romantic and peaceful and let that dictate what you decide to do.:thumbsup2
