I just found the cutest DIY Christmas gift idea on YouTube and I had to share it with my Budget Board friends!
It's called a Bath Salt Sundae and you can make it with items from your local dollar store/Dollar Tree: Glass or plastic Sundae dish, Epsom Salts, straws, loofah sponge, food coloring (optional) and vanilla flavoring/essential oils like peppermint, lavender, etc. (also optional).
I'll be making some Bath Salt Sundaes with my DD (12) this weekend. I think it's a perfect gift for her to give to her friends.
Here is a picture of the finished product:

And here is the link from YouTube:

To package the sundae, secure the salt in either a plastic baggie or cover the top of the glass with plastic wrap, secured with a rubber band. Wrap in cellophane topped with ribbon or place in a gift bag.
If you'd like, you can include this little poem with the Sundae:
This very special Sundae
Will leave you feeling great
It's chock full of good things
Even though it can't be ate
Take it in the bath with you
Of course don't take a sip
'Cause it may look delicious
But it's made to take a dip!
You can also do this idea in a glass sugar shaker:
