Full kids clubs?

Do the kids clubs ever fill up? We're going on our second Disney Cruise in May 2018, but this is our first one with kids. They'll be 5 and 7 when we cruise.

Do the kids clubs ever fill up? We're going on our second Disney Cruise in May 2018, but this is our first one with kids. They'll be 5 and 7 when we cruise.

Let's see if I can explain this - for example: The nursery can accommodate X number of kids (max number at any given time).
Oceaneer's can accommodate Y number of kids in the Club and Z number of kids in the Lab.

Edge & Vibe also have a finite number maximum.

As reservations are made for any given cruise, they keep tabs on the number of reservations that include kids and their ages.

When the maximum number allowed in the club/lab/nursery/Edge/Vibe has been reached with people making reservations, they will no longer accept reservations that include kids in those age groups.

So, technically, no the clubs don't fill up. But, it's possible for all kids on the ship to be in the club at the same time and it will feel like it is. Also, if for some reason there's a shortage of kid's club CMs available (illness or whatever) they will limit the numbers in the clubs during a cruise.

That's what I was looking for. Thanks! So they book kids up to the capacity of the kids clubs, but unforeseen circumstances can cause them to further limit the numbers once a cruise has sailed.

Hopefully we won't have to deal with that. We're currently booked on the Wonder for the Mexican Riviera in May 2018 and my currently 6 year old son is already excited about the Avengers Academy. I'm sure my daughter will be by then.
