Full Housecleaning ?

Next week we are headed to BWV for an 11-night stay. This is our first long stay where we are at the same property long enough to qualify for a full cleaning. So . . . my confirmation says our full cleaning is on day 4 and trash and towel on day 8. So here's my question, why wouldn't these be reversed? We're going to be in the room for a full week after the full cleaning. It seems it would make more sense to have the t&t on day 4 and full cleaning on day 8 . . . how has this worked out?

How is that any different? YOu will be in the room a full week without a full cleaning no matter if you get it on day 4 or day 8.

Makes sense. I don't know why I feel it would be better to have it reversed though . . . I mean how messy will it be in 4 days! Just must be me!

People have reported that they have asked and had the cleaning days reversed. If you want that, it can't hurt to try.

It never makes sense. We sometime do 4 night trips, and T&T is always scheduled on day 4?? Makes zero sense..

Anyway, we have always called housekeeping and adjusted our cleanings. You can re-schedule the full cleaning, and T&T, for whatever days you want.

On a trip that's longer than 8 days and less than 12, it can venture into "personal choice" area. On a trip of say, 9 days the reversing of full and t&t makes more sense --- why get a full cleaning the day before you are leaving when mid-trip would have been more beneficial. I think that's why DVC went to this schedule.

I agree on a 9 day trip that makes sense too, but on an 11-12 day trip, either way you are going to go nearly a week without full cleaning. In fact, we have changed our cleaning/T&T schedule when we have had 9 night trips.
