After much "fooling around" with the dates, I booked a site for our stay in three weeks. (Don't get excited, I did it in Nov.). Anyway, all that was available was a full hookup. Does this category even exist after the renovations? If it does, is there at least a partial concrete pad? I'm thinking all sites have some concrete but can't remember. We normally do preferred or premium but for spring break we will have to take what we get! Just wondering - might stick in an extra rug or something if there will be all sand! Thanks!

I'm certainly not an expert but I believe all sites have concrete slabs. The difference is that the premium sites are ALL concrete, no sand area at the back portion of the sites. The preferred are the same setup as the full sites, the only difference is their location is closer to the marina/settlement area. The full hookups are more towards the back end of the CG, somewhat more quiet than the front but still close enough to get to the pool area quickly. I am sure you will all have a great time no matter what site you end up on!.:thumbsup2 I wish we were going to be there sooner than we are..we have to wait until November.

Full hook-up sites are basically the same as preferred only they are closest to the entrance of the Fort. Concrete/conquina combination instead of all concrete like the Premium. The full hook-ups are 1600 to 1900. In case you don't have a map here is the link.

The full hook-up sites are really nice. You are definitely in walking distance to the pool and movies. We always bring our bikes and ride to the outpost to get the bus or the marina for the boat. It is usually hard to get a full hook-up site. We really like the location.pluto:::MinnieMo:smickey:

Thanks everyone. I think we stayed in 1600 once - great location for easy pool access. I think this will work out well since we won't be going to the parks and my son is a pool lover! Quieter is also good too. We are bringing our own golf cart to location is not an issue. We'll be cruising all over the place anyway!!!!!!
