Fuji FinePix A900 - memory card question

Hi all,
DH bought me a new digital camera for my birthday. I am just shopping around for a memory card for it and wanted to know if anyone bought one for this camera and how much they paid. Is there a certain brand which is recommended. I know the book says San Disk but there are so much disks which say SD on them. I am concerned because I was told that if I use the wrong card (even if it is SD) I may not be abel to record video.
Any thoughts?

SD means secure digital, it is a size and style convention, any SD card in theory will work the same as any other equal card. They have different capacity and read/write speeds.

San Disk is a major player in the market, kind of like buying Coke instead of one of the many other colas availible.

All of my cards are San Disk, and I have never had a single issue with any one of them.

Well I learned the other day in an other thread that the Fuji FinePix A900 takes xD and SD cards.

I was not able to find any info online about there being specific card requirement in order to shoot video, my guess would be that any name brand card should be able to write fast enough to keep up with an entry level PnS digicam.
