FTP luggage tags-when do you receive?

Final payment for me wasn't due until 21 days prior to check in. I hope they get them out soon to me or I will have to pick them up when I arrive.

We booked FTP thru WDTC and made our final payment 6/23. We rec'd our conf. letter and 4 luggage tags 7/2. We were told that out UPH tix will be given to us at check-in, that Disney will NOT mail the tix in case they are lost/stolen etc., they are not liable. The tags are blue and have a sort of multi-color contemporary design of the castle on them, they are the size of a credit card, maybe a little larger and thin plastic like a cc. I would call and ask about them.

I am the OP. I called Disney this morning to make a PS and while I was on the phone, I asked about them and they said they come in a separate package than the confirmation I already received. When I got home from work today, there they were in my mailbox. Off the subject, also received my disney reward dollars in the mail today. Wish my mailbox looked that good every day. Really getting excited now!

I called Disney Travel Co on June 17 to reserve our FTP for the first week in August. I had to have it paid in full by June 20, so I went ahead and paid for it on the 17th. I got my confirmation by fax the next day and 1 luggage tag for each of us about a week later. I called back on the 23rd to change our rooms to a water view and Saturday I got 3 more luggage tags.

Our traveling mates got theirs today and they paid last Monday, I guess I will get ours close to this weekend.

Can I ask a dumb question?
I booked my fairytale package online at the Disney website.
I received an e-mail confirmation.
1. Will I receive snail mail from them too?
2. Is this who is sending the luggage tags? I did not see any reference to luggage tags in the list of package details.

....or did you all book through some other source?

The luggage tags were a suprise to me. Also, after I received my faxed confirmation, I did not get anything else in the mail - just the tags. I booked through Disney Travel Co.

Have any of you booked with DU and paid in full? If so, have you gotten any confirmation/tags yet? We were notified by DU that our balance had been paid in full over a week ago but we have gotten nothing for paperwork yet. Just curious.

We booked through DU and paid up a few weeks back- no confirmation and no luggage tags yet.

Last year I booked one room via CRO the other via Disney on-line- we got snail mail confirmation for the CRO ressie, not for the other one.

I received our luggage tags yesterday, 34 days before our trip, two weeks after paying in full. I booked through CRO. The tags came after the initial confirmation with a check-in voucher in a cardboard type of envelope that will be good for carrying all the travel related documents.

The luggage tags are the typical free travel luggage tags that the travel agents give you when you book a trip or a company givesaway at a trade show (clear plastic front with plastic rubber strap). The picture of the castle on them is quite nice but I wouldn't go nuts trying to get these tags. It doesn't seem like that big of a deal.

Just got our tags today, along with our airline tickets.
We paid our balance off June 20, I wasnt expecting them to come so quickly.

In our letter today though it said I owed another $147 (no reason given) and the price they had for the trip was $147 more than any other confirmation I have received from WDTC.
So I go ahead and call WDTC and they say they dont see that I owe anything, in fact I have a credit of $25 coming to me.

I am not sure what to do now. But heck I got the tickets so I am not paying anything more until I hear otherwise.

Why doesnt anything so smoothly for me???
