Ft lauderdale to orlando

We are going to ft lauderdale for a compnay sponsored trip in beginning of january, we are going to go up to disney the sunday we are done and stay till thursday and fly out of orlando. We have decided not to rent a car during our ft lauderdale resort stay as we will be on the beach anyway and no sense paying car rental fee and $20 a day hotel parking. Whats the most economical way to get a car sunday(any rental places deliver to our hotel, or should we take the shuttle back to the airport and get our car there?) Won't really need the car once we get up to orlando either. Any other ways to go ft lauderdale to orlado without rental car, that way we could use disney transportation to the airport when we left as well.

Sorry that I don't have an answer or any suggestions for you. Just wondering if you had any idea how long the drive from Ft. Lauderdale to WDW will be? I may be down there myself at some point visiting family and was wondering if I might schedule a Disney trip in.

I live just south of Ft. Lauderdale and it takes me between 3 to 3 1/2 hours. You could look into flying Southwest. We have done it a few times and you might be able to get one way airfare for around $40 each.

I never thought of the flying- that would be no more expensive then a car, then we could use magical express from the orlando airport?

The car would be the cheapest & fastest way if there are 2 or more. Some Car companies have locations in Fort Lauderdale. Figure being at the airport 2 hours early and a 1 hour flight if you leave on time, 3 hours gone.It is a straight, yet boring tirp to WDW. We have done it many times from West Palm. You can count the signs to Yeehaw Junction for fun

Anyone know of a great rate with someone ft lauderdale to orlando car booking for jan 8th-12? Your help is appreciated, as I am starting to look as well. Intermediate size car
