Okay, so I know I'm overreacting but I am so frustrated at my DH right now.

Our FP window opens on Wednesday, so I was laying out the final selections. I asked him what rides he wanted with our two little ones while I had the older ones on the big rides (he doesn't do rides really). He said, "I don't know, it seems like it would be a lot for me to get the kids in and out, we can just wait for you." He had already agreed to take them on other rides so our 2 year old wasn't bored waiting on her big sisters all the time. I reminded him that there aren't a lot of shady seats in MK to wait in, but he was adamant, mentioning his knee (which he is having trouble with). I said, "Okay, fine."

I then figured I could alternate taking the big kids on the big rides and riding with the little ones with my sister and was completely re working my FP plans when he said, "You know what, you're right. DD2 would be bored just waiting all the time, schedule the FP you were planning to."

GAH! Ahhh! ERRRRR! Make up your mind!!!!!! I am not writing a third itinerary. We are a party of 10 and I'm tired of trying to please everyone.

I'm just going to get up Wednesday morning and make whatever FP I think will work best for me and the kids. If anyone's unhappy, they're free to make their own arrangements next time instead of putting everything on me and only telling me what I'm doing wrong.

There is a little play area by splash mountain that is in the shade. That would be a great spot for them to rest and play while you go on a splash and BTMR!

Yes,my kids love the Laughing Place play area and there’s one in Epcot by Mission Space as well, thru the gift shop by the post show area. And yes, planning a Disney trip for a large group is a PIA. Your little should love the Dumbo queue area as well

OP - hang in there...I totally empathize - I am the planner for a group of 9 with 3 generations going in April...it’s exhausting.

I have come to terms with the idea that no one will thank me enough (except my mother) and that I am doing all of this work because I want to and because deep down I enjoy it...

My 11 year old son has recently gotten interested in planning a Disney trip (he has been there 15 times so he thinks he CAN plan them) and has been reading guidebooks and learning the ropes - he is slowly starting to appreciate the effort...

if he has bad knee/s I would not schedule him to take little one to Disney Jr Show as seating is on the floor

When I was a kid I used to plan fake disney trips all the time with the help of guidebooks! It was before FP+ obviously but I found the planning SO fun!
