Frustration with the Disney Store

My letter was wriitten and mailed few months ago. I'm the same as a lot of you. I have and still do pay full price for a lot of my Disney Stuff. I own a lot of Disney scrub prints and even the Elderly I work with love my Mickeys and Eeyores. I honestly can't say I've seen much in catalog for adults as of late either. I'm not a dress girl so no I won't spend 60.00 for a dress but I will spend 45 for a pair of nice Disney shorts and a tee shirt. I still buy the stuffed toys at full price. I love visting the Michigan Ave. DS in Chicago and just dreaming of all the cool collectible stuff they have. I own a lot of the WDCC figurines from the series that I love and will buy more if I find ones I like such as Lady and Tramp.

I have to agree with everyone. But mine is a different complaint. All I see is GIRLS! GIRLS! GIRLS! stuff. Usually there is 1 Easter outfit for a boy and about 4 or 5 for girls. Now this year there were NO EASTER outfits for a boy in the catalog or store. When I complained to the manager, she said Disney said their market for boys clothes are mainly T-shirts. I said Bull! My DS is only 4! I have gotten him such cute dress-up outfits there in the past. But I guess no more. We still have some adult things at our store, sweatshirts, t-shirts and such. They have taken away the infant stuff though.

That is likely true. That is when the adult merchandise sells the best.

I totally agree with you on that one. My husband and I are going to WDW for our 1st anniversary/2nd honeymoon in 2 weeks. We've been trying to hit up Disney stores just to see if there's anything "cool" we might want. Well, out of the 4 we've been to, 2 were closed down! I used to live in PA, and the Disney store there was huge and serviced adults along with kids. According to my parents, they haven't changed - yet anyway. Big bummer for us though!
