Frustrated with MS hours

We've had our current reservation (a studio at VWL) for two months. Now we've decided to upgrade to a 1-bedroom because we are now taking our 2 1/2 year old grandson, as well as the six year old. I tried callling MS this weekend, and didn't realize that the hours were M-F, 9-5, (Thurs 9-7). That does make it a little difficult for those of us who work and find it difficult to call during those hours. Not to mention the fact that I want to try and secure this NOW! ;)

Just doing a little Sunday morning venting. Anyone else ever bothered by this? (Not my venting but the hours of DVC MS) :)

They limit the hours in order to keep dues down. I've been a member over 5 years and never had a problem with it. I'm lucky in the fact that I have an office job and can use the phone anytime.

Never had a problem. If I can't find the time to call from work, I run home on my lunch hour and call.

I like it the way it is. I wouldn't want to pay higher dues for it. Now, if we could get online ressies and less dues..... :goodvibes

I hadn't even considered that the reason for no weekend hours was to keep dues down. That does make sense. Can you tell I'm new at this? ;)

I live 50 miles round trip from work, so coming home for lunch isn't an option. Most of my day is spent on the road so, I can either pull over and call from my cell, or somehow squeeze the call in while in the office. I'm sure that I'll come up with something!

I have no problem working around it. Call during lunch usually.

You can also email them.

Look at it this way...if you can't call and book your room now, neither can any other members. :) Call as early as you can on Monday and you'll have as good a shot as anyone else.
