Fruit salad at the Sequoia lodge

Hi, we really enjoyed having fresh fruit salad for breakfast in the Newport Bay last week but can't remember if it was available when we stayed in the Sequoia Lodge? Does anybody know??

I'm pretty sure the breakfast at the SL is the same as NBC as they are the same rating hotel

Yes it is, it's only at Santa Fe and Cheyenne that you get the tinned stuff.

Thanks, I thought the breakfasts were meant to be the same but really couldn't remember seeing the fruit salad.

yes sequoia does do it. We had it on out last trip, but after trying it on the first morning and finding it had a very bitter unusual taste it put us off for the rest of the week. Perhaps we just had a funny batch? lol

I think you must have had a funny batch. We really enjoyed it especially my youngest. She loves pineapple and every morning someone had been in the salad and scooped lots of pineapple to the side so I was popping it into a bowl for her. If anything we found the liquid was a little too sweet.

I love it, I usually have a fruity yoghurt with it. It's part of my traditional Disney breakfast and another reason I was disappointed at the Cheyenne last time, tinned fruit and natural yoghurt just wasnt the same

we all too loved the fruit salad at sequoia, very nice with natural yog poured over it, i ate bowls of the stuff
