So excited that I just booked with free dining, but was bummed about the extra park hopper expense. When I booked I only got 2 day tickets with park hopper and thought I could upgrade when we get there. I saw that the water park and more would be an extra $100 add on for all 4 tickets ($25/person extra). I was wondering how exactly that worked. Do I have to use the water park passes on days that I am in the parks and can they be used on separate days? Since I got a 2 day ticket could I use them 2 other days and get 4 park days out the tickets? Also if I decide to add extra park days can I add extra days and not add the park hopper to the extra days? I am guessing that that is not an option.
Also is disney quest a full days worth of entertainment?

1. You say it's a $100 add-on. That's incorrect if you are talking "per ticket."
(When discussing ticket prices it is important to discuss "per ticket" price.)
2. Water Park option is completely independent of the Theme Park visits.
3. Yes.
4. No. But, the cost for added days with the Park Hopper is between $0 and $14 (TOTAL COST, per ticket,) depending on how many days you add..
5. It is for some guests. If you are not interested in a full day of "video game-type" activities, then no.

Thanks for the helpful answers. I changed the original it was going $100 for all for tickets. I am thinking this would be a good way to get extra entertainment for a low cost.

WDW Ticket prices and options vary as you add more days. The combination of PH + WPF&M is cheaper than buying both those options at their single option price. (info below does not include tax)

For two-day tickets and three-day tickets, PH is $50 and WPF&M is $64. Combo price is $90.
For four-day tickets up to 10-day tickets, PH is $64 and WPF&M is $64. Combo price is $90.
Also, adding park days decreases in price. Day 3 is $83 more than Day 2. Day 4 is $30 more than Day 3. Days 5-10 are only $10 more per day.

I saw that someone replied "no" to this and I just wanted to make sure since I was planning around this- I have 7 day tix, added the hopper and water parks. We are there 8 day (we leave late last day)- I figured we had to do something non park related on day of departure... But we could go to a water park in the morning even if we used up the park tickets?! (This may change everything!)(does this make sense? I'm such a newbie!!)

You can use your park tickets and Water Parks options together in a day, or separately. You can also use more than one Water Park option in the same day. For example, on your last day with late departure, you could visit Blizzard Beach water park and play mini-golf at Winter-Summerland. (check that they will both be open) They're located together, kind-of across from Coronado Springs resort and just down the street from All Star resorts. You need to set aside about 3.5 hr time before your flight for DME bus pick-up at your resort.

(Edited to change DME bus pick-up to 3.5 hrs before flight)

If you have a 7 day park ticket and have added the WP&M feature that gives you an additional 7 WP&M admissions. Park admission and WP admission are not linked to one another.....example, if you got to MK in the morning and then go to a WP in the afternoon you have used up one of each admission. You did not park hop.

I hope that made sense.

Guys! As I plan this trip... Things just get more and more magical! Seriously!!! Thank you!

If you have theme park tickets for 7 days, you will have 7 passes for the water parks, mini golf or Disney Quest. You can use these on the same day as the theme parks or on different days.

You need to set aside about 2.5 hr time before your flight for DME bus pick-up at your resort.
DME pick up is 3 hours before flight time and you need to be at the DME stop at least 15 minutes prior to the time that you have been scheduled. Basically, you need to plan to be at your resort and at the DME bus stop 3.5 hours before flight time. If you have stored luggage in the luggage room add another 15 minutes to get it out. If using RAC check your bags there in the morning before heading out to a park.

With your 7 day tickets, you'll get 7 DAYS of admission to the main themeparks (and with the hopper you can visit more than one of the 4 main themeparks each day), and the WPM option gives you 7 *admissions* to the WPM places. (Typhoon, Disney Quest, etc)

If you won't be hopping between the major themeparks, by the way, you don't need to have hopping. Just in case you aren't planning on going between MK, Epcot, DHS, and/or AK on any given day.

Since you'll have 7 admissions to the WPM places, you can use them as you wish. Visit MK for the first part of a day, end the evening at Disney Quest. That will use one themepark day and one WPM admission. Go to Epcot before lunch, go to Blizzard Beach then Typhoon in one day? That's one themepark and two WPM admissions. Visit Disney Quest on your last day without going to a main park, that's one WPM admission.

Good correction. I should have looked up exact info first.
