Frozen Summer Fun Premium Package - worth the extra money?

See that they are now turning HS into some sort of Frozen-paradise this summer, including a premium package at a hefty cost. Anyone think it will be worth it?

With a 4 yr old and a 8 yr old, Anna and Elsa are high up on our agenda. We will most likely not be able to do a meet & greet (staying offsite). To be able to see them and sing with them will be second best, but at least then we will get to see them. Add the dessert party, that will keep both kids & dad happy. But it is a lot of money for something we really don't know much about.

Any thoughts?

I did it last year and thought it was awesome. Granted, the cost was little bit less, but I would definitely do it again if they were offering it during my next trip.

I had the package booked last August and I ended up canceling it before we went and getting a refund, solely because the price seemed high for what you get.

For the sing-a-long, you can just get a FP for that now. (Last year they were doing this return ticket thing, and that actually worked out fine)

The fireworks, not hard to find a spot for those

Ditto for the procession in the morning, which is really short. We sat on the steps of the old American Idol building and ate our own Mickey bars which was fun.

Lots of people enjoyed the package, but just wanted to share our experience. We got to see all of the components without paying for the package.

Keep in mind that the dessert party has alcoholic drinks. We don't drink, so we lost a lot of value right there, but if you would enjoy that part of it the math might make more sense.

Just as an FYI, you don't really get to sing with them all that much. Anna comes out at the beginning of the singalong, but disappears before any singing happens. Then she comes out at the very end, along with Elsa, and everyone is on stage for one verse/chorus of Let It Go. Just don't want you to go into it with lofty expectations.

We did the premium package last summer and really liked it. We're excited to try it again now that the big hat is gone and the fireworks viewing area should be improved!
