I never even considered Frozen singalong for an upcoming trip because the 5 kids are 16, 16, 15, 13, 11, and the oldest three are boys (and the girls were never into Frozen even a little bit)...however, I noticed a couple of posts on here referencing the show and it sounds like maybe I was wrong? It's funny, I gather? Does it appeal to all ages and non-Frozen lovers alike?

All of that said, the trip is in less than 2 weeks...too late for advanced FP?

Yes, absolutely do it. It's quite funny. We had avoided it at first too, because we thought it was just some camp fire style sing along of Frozen songs. It's not...at all. It's more of a comedy show using Frozen as the story. Yes, there are Frozen songs and the audience is encouraged to sing, but it's far more than just that. Our kids, ages 14, 10, 10 really enjoy it and none of us (even DD10) are really that into Frozen.

No need for FP+, and if you really want one, they're super easy to get.

I would say it's fun because of the extra commentary and humor. However, I thought I had heard somewhere that they were taking out the funny stuff and just sticking with the singing.

Don't know if that's planned for the future, but as of 2 weeks ago it was still a comedy show.

This show is our secret WDW vice. We’d watch it even if we didn’t have the kids with us.

The show can vary a little based on the particular CMs on stage - we’ve seen a few that were seriously ROTFL and some that were funny, but not quite as funny, if that makes sense.

But all in all, it’s good fun and we enjoy it.

My older children LOVED this show, and were skeptical going in. (DD23 DD16 DS14) They all said it was a favorite. My DS6 had an "emergency" bathroom need, so I had to leave the show after 5 minutes, so I look forward to hitting it when we return in August.

The star of the show is the extremely talented Ben Ptashinsky. He plays the role of one of the two storytellers/narrators. He's on Instagram @equityben and usually posts when he will be performing at the Frozen Sing Along. It's a great show for anyone and the final scene offers a cool surprise.

My word yes! A thousand times yes! It's not funny though, it's hilarious.

I just went to the singalong at the beginning of July and it was hilarious! I hadn't seen Frozen and I HATE singing but it was still very fun. It made me actually rent the movie when I got home.

I saw this for the first time on June 30th. It was Toy Story opening day and we needed to kill some time before lunch. I was really surprised - it was funny! I thought it was just a kids show but it isn't.

Ben is great. DD was disappointed at the show the last time we saw it as Ben was not performing at that time.

The first time we went to see the show it was more to annoy my daughter....then we all loved it and it's become a must do each trip.

I loved the show .. I went in 2014 .. taking my young son (2 year old) to hear the songs that he loved (this was at the beginning of Frozen "fever") .. and my wife and I enjoyed the comedy of it!
If they enjoy Disney songs .. it is a fun show .. but nothing really special or spectacular.

Not worth a FAST PASS on though (as most shows aren't worth it .. since you dont' really "skip" any line).

We went as two adults during June last year and it was a nice break from the heat and relatively funny. I do wish it was a little more than showing scenes from the movie, but overall it was a good indoor break in park with few rides.

I LOVE Ben and always hope he’s there when I am! He cracks me up! I tried to find him on Instagram but couldn’t. ☹️ Is that @equityben still a valid account?

I just read that he has shut down his Instagram account (within the past day or two). Sounds like his announcements about schedule and such will be made on his Youtube channel instead.

We love it. My son got all his friends to do it on their senior trip. He said they were apprehensive but they enjoyed it too. It’s hilarious.

It’s a funny and entertaining show. My 17-year-old daughter loved it! In fact, we saw it twice! Could not get DH or DS (22) to join us, though.
