Frozen show - new update

I am here now and asked about the assigned seating. The CMs said the trial ended about 5 days ago. I would love to know if anyone has heard anything differently.

If it’s a big must-do, have you considered the Frozen Lunch? My mom and I really enjoyed it.

It’s pricey, but again, we really enjoyed the food and the whole experience.

On Thursday - Thanksgiving Day I arrived before my husband and noticed that there was a line at Hyperion just after park opening so I got in line. After about 10 minutes it was my turn and I opted for the 3pm show and chose my seats. They showed a seating chart of what was available - Upper orchestra or Mezzanine. I opted for upper orchestra and we were in the first row at the railing front and center. They will need to scan ONE park ticket or annual pass ( it's a test system so mobile ticket isn't valid). It will register on their end and you will be told to arrive 15 minutes before showtime. There is a specific entrance labeled "Priority seating" and you give your name and party size and they issue a paper ticket with your seat assignment which the usher will direct you to. I got tipped off it was testing that weekend when I saw it on my multiple Facebook groups.

I've done this solo when my husband was too sick to join me in the parks and it was AWESOME. I highly recommend it.

Well on that note, anyone have advice on how early to line up if you want good mezzanine seats?
