We are going to Epcot next week!!

I had planned to go to Epcot Morning EMH and hopefully jump on the Frozen ride 1st thing.

However we do have a FP for that day at 12:35.

My concern with using the FP is that (1) what if the ride breaks down and (2) we have little kids, they may not make it till 12:35.

However it seems like there is a mob rush scene when the park opens at 9... anyone know what it is like at 8 for EMH? Is it reasonable to say we could do the ride and M&G and be on our way by 9?

Thanks!

If you can get up early enough and be near the front for the morning EMH, I would do that. If you're not there early for the EMH then I would expect a long wait.

Next best thing would be the FP. This is what I would do so I wouldn't have to worry about getting to the park at 7am. But you said your kids might not make it until noon?

Unless you're among the first in the park and get on Frozen ever After with minimal wait, I would put doing both ride and meet and greet taking longer than 9am. The meet and greet seems to be around 30 min daily, but it's about how early you get to the park and how quick you get on the ride

I'm debating this right now. Plan A was to go to Epcot during morning EMH rush to FEA then walk over and visit Anna/ Elsa - but then I saw on EasyWDW that Anna/ Elsa's waits are longest in the morning. So now I'm debating going on a "normal" day with FP for FEA and doing Anna/ Elsa during their quieter afternoon timeframe. Note we'll be doing Soarin', Joy/ Sadness etc on a different day at RD

I would NOT go to RD. We were there over this past weekend and it was a madhouse. Instant 2 hour wait at 9:02 (park opening at 9). I don't know what it was like during an EMH, but I would think you would have to get there at 7 to have a chance...That being said, I'd roll the dice with the FP+ even though it backfired on us. Our FP was for Sunday at 7Pm. The ride was down for several hours mid morning/early afternoon and stayed closed the remainder of the day. Three minutes before our FP window, Disney sent us an email telling us we could use the FP for another attraction of our choice.

Decisions, decisions! Thanks every one for their input. I am hoping that someone will do the ride with EMH and post about it because we have ONE WEEK until we are there. Since my kids are little, the other high priority rides like Soarin' or Test Track aren't really something we can substitute.

Hoping that everyone rushing to the ride in November will serve to cut down on crowds for Soarin' and Test Track.
