I was wondering, never having been there, where would be a reasonable place to stand to see it the best? We should be there on a party night, when the park closes to us at 7PM and my GS5 is pretty short. Well, he's tall for 5, but still unable to see a parade or something behind an adult.

I agree. It was very beautiful, but Anna was a bit...hyper.

During the Christmas party season (nov-mid december) I believe it's only done on party nights at 6:15 and then another "showing" at 8:00. After the parties are over they do it nightly as part of the general admission through New Years (and last year extended it through the middle of January)

You'll want to get there about 45 minutes ahead of time for good viewing spaces.

Same times - but I don't think they do the show on non-party nights until the parties are done.

Not true. On non-party nights it shows at 6:15 and 7:30. On party nights is shows at 6:15 and 8:00.

Remember that the characters have to play "big" for all of the people standing far away from the stage. They're not performing for a camera with the ability to pan in for closeups. (Mom of a theater professional here, and he's taught me a lot over the years!)
