Frozen going Away

Truthfully, I'm not that surprised that they're going to be discontinuing the comic version of Frozen that was presented at the Royal Theater. They're preparing to debut a new staged version over at the Hyperion this summer and they probably don't want to have two shows at the same time. I'm a little surprised that they're phasing out Frozen at the Royal Theater this early, but they haven't announced an end date yet, so who knows when Beauty & the Beast will actually return.

So happy. My girl is Beauty and the Beast and Rapunzel obsessed. Hoping they will both be there in May.

Says that the changeover is happening in "Spring" -- will probably be closer to May. Cannot come soon enough :D

Maybe they're attempting to raise demand for the new show... :crazy2:

We'll see how it goes, but I cannot imagine the Frozen show will be as timeless and long-running as Aladdin was.

Na Na Na Na, Na Na Na Na Na, Hey Elsa, Goodbye! Goodbye! Order is finally restored in Fantasy Faire with Frozen melting.

I am sad about it, I have already seen Beauty and Beast at WDW, I would like to see something different. If they must change out Frozen could they not use one of their newer movies like Brave or how about other movies that do not get much time in parks like Mulan. I just think Beauty and Beast is over done, as much as I love it.

I miss the excellent shows at Fantasyland Theater. Dick Tracy, Beauty and the Beast, Pocohantas, Snow White.
Hows Mickey and the Magical Map? On par with the older shows?

No older shows that I can compare it to, but I loved it! Dancing, some older songs (like from the Jungle Book) with a newer medley. I showed up like 15 minutes before show time, and got a good seat.

It's got the same movie as a background, but that's about it. The WDW show and the DLR one at the Royal Theater are very different.

That is good to hear, still wish they did a different movie, since Beauty and the Beast is over done.
