wonderin how if u are with someone in a wheelchair how it works when u come to your return time do u get to enter the theater first to get the wheelchair spots are all those generally open anyway? I think I want to see it on 9-26-16, any idea how the crowds will be, I anticipate being able to enter the park at about 9:00 or so after having breakfast at the carnation cafe at disneyland.

When I had to use my ECV , we presented our FP at the time/door then were directed to the queueing area for the handicap accessible / special assistance area. We were let in first and assisted after the VIP and packages were. It was very easy.

I called and was told that you get your fast pass and whatever area you get that there are wheelchair seats in all areas. I'm very worried about it because my daughter is also visually impaired and won't be able to see from anywhere other than the front. Will you check back in after you go and let my know how it works. I was planning on doing the pre-show package to make sure she would be able to see but I understand that is gone now that the 60th is over.

i sure will

In my experience, which is only once :) , they sent me to an alternative queue where all the special needs people were waiting. In my instance, I couldn't manage flights of stairs (we're talking like tripping and falling, which they didn't appreciate me doing in the past), so while I didn't have a w/c or ECV, I was essentially needing the same accommodations (apart from the missing seat area to park it, of course). So they sent DH and I to the queue on the far, far left. We were the first to go in so we could get to the seats we needed with a little extra time.

Yesterday our fast pass was for mezzanine and we were told there was an elevator we could use. Our entire party was let into the handicap line. When they started seating everyone we were actually directed into the orchestra section and were let in first. Those that could transfer out left their wheelchairs outside. There is seating area for 5or6 chairs for people who can't transfer out. You would be able to sit with two members of your party......so an empty spot for the chair and then 2seats for your friends.
