My DD is turning 4 soon and all she has talked about is having a Frozen birthday party. I would love to hear any budget friendly idea's. Also does anyone know where to get Frozen items cheap?

TIA!!

Try Google, just type in Frozen Party Ideas and tons of stuff come up. Also, check out pinterest. One idea that I liked was those bliss lights. Seen it in blue and that would look great at a birthday party. QVC sells them, I think Home Depot does too.

You can do a lot using generic winter decorations. You can find white snowflakes everywhere, even cheaper if you can wait until after the holidays. There are tons of Pinterest boards dedicated to Frozen birthday parties. You can make a cake and order the Frozen figures from the disney store to decorate. For my daughter's party, we make trolls by gluing rocks and added moss and eyes. We played the sing along video during the party and every kids knew every word to every song. And we had 7 year old boys and girls!

I was at AC Moore today and they had party plates, napkins, cups, etc for Frozen. I didn't check to see prices since dd had her Frozen birthday party this past summer, but you can always use coupons at AC Moore to bring the price down.

We only invite immediate family to birthday parties so I don't really have any advice on Frozen games/budget friendly party goody bags.

Did Frozen theme for trunk or treat. I printed off paper snowflakes patterns that you cut yourself. To make them fancier you can cover them with glitter. Also, I used a white posterboard and made an Olaf and had pin the carrot nose on Olaf. Pinterest had lots of cute ideas for decorations and treats.

Our local Dollar Tree had bunches of snowflakes in white and silver, very cute and different sizes

Target has a good number of Frozen items in the Dollar Spot which would works well for goodie bags. I've also seen some good things on Zulliy recently.

We bought a pack of "snowballs" for $10 at the craft store and that kept the kids (and grownups) for almost an hour. Grandpa made a large cardboard cut out of Olaf with no nose and a holey mouth. The kids played Pin the Nose on Olaf and later played Throw the Marshmellow in Olaf's Mouth.

How about a snowflake hunt. Buy some small cheap snowflake decorations and hide them (like an egg hunt). Or for kids a little older do a scavenger hunt. Also, I remember an old recipe for ice cream snowballs. I think you scoop vanilla ice cream, sprinkle with coconut and freeze the scoops on a baking tray lined with wax paper. For kids, could probably use white chocolate chips as I don't know how much kids like coconut. I'm sure someone will know how to make these or directions are online.

Thanks everyone for you help. I think I have a little bit of plan put together. After hours of browsing Pinterest. I still have a few things I need to get to put together. I will also have to go to Target. I decided on buying the Elsa that goes with Infinity since it is the same price as a cake topper. I love the idea of the snowball toss. I will have to make one of those!
