It's been a few years since we have been to the CityWalk to walk around during the day. I thought I remembered there being some places where you could get an alcoholic/frozen drink to go and drink it while just walking around the CityWalk. Can anyone let me know the names of these places and what kind of drinks you can get to go? We have 2 kids with us so we can't really sit at a bar. That's why I need the drinks to go!!
Thanks a lot!!

That would be at Margaritavalle. They've got a few of those ice crushing machines and can make slushie drinks. They'll pour it in a plastic cup, then you can walk around.

Ooh excellent - I didn't know this! We'll have a couple of kids with us this time too, so that's great to know! :drinking1

There are several places to get drinks...Margaritaville has the restaurant, and a newer outside bar with seats and snacks and a walk up window too, I believe! Depending on the age of the kids, NASCAR can be a good spot to get drinks since they have an arcade there...so everyone is happy! :teeth: I think NBA City has some games inside as well...there are usually a couple of carts outside where you can get beer...but the restaurants all pretty much have full bars, including frozen concoctions that you can take with you...you can't cross in or out of the parks with drinks or leave and head to the parking area...There are places inside of the parks to get drinks as well! :thumbsup2

Enjoy!

Also, right near the bridge to go to IOA there's a small "cafe" type bar set up. It is small and usually not crouded. We usually left the park for five minutes just to go get a drink then go back in. :thumbsup2

Do you mean the airplane? I remember seeing it after many trips to IOA/US and the one time I go and see this huge seaplane parked outside of Margaritaville and say "what the heck? how did they get the plane right there!?"

here's a pic:

I was trying to figure out if they meant the plane as well...which is part of Margaritaville...um..is it the Leaning Palms or something? Oh, LONE Palm, that's it! :thumbsup2 It's very simple how the plane got there...Jimmy Buffett used his navigational beacon and landed it there! :teeth: Unless he was shot down again like he was in Jamaica... :smokin:

Ok, I dunno...I was having margaritas one day and next thing I knew, it was THERE! :rolleyes2  :rolleyes1 I thought I imagined it... :teeth:

the name of the plane is the hemisphere dancer. it's a good thing the floor at the lone palm is sand so when MsDisney passes out off of her stool her fall is cushioned. :thumbsup2

You are QUITE correct... :thumbsup2

What a bear it is trying to get sand out of...um...well, it's a little like finding Christmas tree needles in July... :rolleyes1

Good thing it's not clothing optional like Margaritaville in Montego Bay! :teeth:

Margaritaville has some very tasty beverages, for sure! I assume the Lone Palm has the same things as inside...although I've never had anything out there...guess I should investigate! :teeth:
