Frontierland Quest Pin???

Yes, it comes with Series 2 Frontierland quest. I have heard there is also a Series 2 Fantasyland and Adventureland quest and those each have a pin as a prize.

Is WDW using the quests from series 2 now? And if they are, are the questions and (of course) answers different than those in series 1?

woot! that makes me even more excited to go todisneyland and get the new quest pins and stuff!

i do have a question though... were the questions the same from beofre and just the prizes were diffrent or what? what things did you get?

I would really appreciate it if you could post the questions for Series 2, do not have to post answers if you would rather not.

Thanks

Mal

Some of the questions are the same...with 3 choices instead of 2 for the answers. Some questions are different. I haven't done these quests yet. I just grabbed them to do next time. The prizes are the same except that the pins were switched out (quest pins instead of retro pins) and a quest pin instead of the cactus chair for Frontierland/Critter Country. I was not able to get into the VMK tour like we had planned today. So we went to Pooh corner and bought candy to get the red penny presses and our gold mickey ears to get the virtual ones. It looks to be VERY difficult to get on the VMK tour, so I was bummed about that. I don't know if we will ever be able to get there early enough to get on it.

Edit: I just saw your request Maltoo. I will do that. It might take me a little while. I won't post the answers, because I don't know them!

I haven't double check it...but I think the old answers still hold. Here are the questions on Series 2:

Level 1: Prize--Fantasyland Quest Pin
1. The images upon KingArthur's Carrousel, tell the story of which famous young damsel? (same as Series 1, with one more choice for answer)

Sleeping Beauty
Cinderella
Snow White

2. Above the apple that cackles aloud, who's in the window standing proud? (same as Series 1, with one more choice for answer)

The Evil Queen
Meleficent
Snow White

Level 2: Prize--Prince Phillip's Briarstone
3. All over this Land you'll find lots of detail, but in which of these places - NO Monstro the Whale? (This used to be Question #6, the answer choices are now in a different order)

As the entrance to Storybook Land
As a weathervane on top of Pinocchio's Daring Journey
Inside Pinocchio's Daring Journey
As a topiary in front on "it's a small world"

4. Look for the arch before the Train, which pair of stories does it contain? (same as Series 1, with one more choice for answer, and it was "Sleeping Beauty & Cinderella" in Series 1)

Alice in Wonderland & Fantasia
Dumbo & Pinocchio
Beauty and the Beast & Cinderella
Peter Pan & Aladdin

Level 3: Prize--Huntsman's Hearless Hamper
5. Look for creatures that are leafy and green-to find which of these topiaries can be seen? (This one is worded differently, but same answers plus one).

The Yeti
The Loch Ness Monster
Hyacinth Hippo
Pegasus
A Dragon

6. For proof of the Yeti you must look around-when was the South slope's giant footprint found? (This was Question #3 and has been reworded, answers are in different order, 5 choices instead of 3).

April 1, 1940
January 31, 1965
May 22, 1978
May 27, 1978
May 27, 1979

Level 1 Prize: Adventureland Quest Pin

Rajah's Mint Penny-Press
Shrunken Ned's Witch-Doctor Advice
Aladdin's Other Lamp wishes

Level 2 Prize: Aladdin's Flying Carpet Chair

Koro
Maui
Rongo
Tangaroa

4. At Indiana Jones Adventure step just inside, to an obelisk of stone marking people's demise. By staring a Mara you'll meet such a fate, but which gruesome ending does not wait? (This was Question #5, it has been reworded, but same answer choices).

Eaten by rats
Bitten by a snake
Impaled on stakes
Stung by a scorpion

Level 3 Prize: Explorer's Suitcase Sofa
5. Finding these two in Adventureland is quite bizarre! Which fanciful pair has wandered here from afar? (This is a new question!)

Snow White & Prince Charming
Flotsam & Jetsam
Peter Pan & Wendy
Mrs. Potts & Chip
Quasimodo & Esmeralda

6. This last question will make you take note, while waiting in line BEFORE boarding your boat. A queue-like creature is what you seek, its animated movement makes it unique. (It used to say "queue-line" not "queue-like" and they took out the part about seeing the animals on the Jungle Cruise Photo Safari game. They added one more choice to the answers...hornbill. I wonder now if this is the answer instead of toucan...only because I think I saw an animated hornbill in line for the jungle cruise ride that I had never seen before--but I don't know????)

A snake
A bat
A vulture
A toucan
A hornbill

Level 1 Prize: Frontierland Quest Pin

4. Signs give direction to the brave pioneer, but which WON'T you find on this frontier? (This is a new question)

5. In CRITTER COUNTRY find Tom's lookout point, where the view across the river won't disappoint. But what WON'T you see HANGING on Tom Sawyer Island? (Same question, one more answer choice).

Buckskin clothing
A hangman's noose
A rowboat
A lantern
A bell

6. In CRITTER COUNTRY creatures abound, but which wooden animal can NOT be found? (New question)

They have increased the wait time to 90 days to get repeat prizes. This means that if you have done any of the quests within the last 90 days, you can only get the quest pins since they are new. You also can't get any more tour cards until 90 days have passed even if you complete the new quest cards. BTW the reason Question #7 on the Tomorrowland quest was changed was because they removed most of the Little Green Men from Star Traders.

Series II is only on the West Coast.
WDW is still doing Series I and the HM Quest as of last weekend.
Word was that Series II will phase into Orlando sometime in the Nov/Dec timeframe.

I finally got my VMK tour at DL today. :earsboy: Only addition is that there are 6 questions for the Pirate Quest. Answer to Question 6 is Lafitte's Landing. If anyone wants all the question, answers and prizes for the Pirate Quest let me know and I'll post them

OK, dumb question here, but how do they keep track of how often you turn in quest cards and do the tour? We only had to give our names to sign up for the tour (I'm sure there are hundreds of people with the same name so they can't go by name only). We had to show our tickets with our quest cards, but again there is only a name on them (and I'm not even sure they keyed in the name?). My sister's ticket didn't even have her name on it (old WDW hopper). So how do they keep track of this? Just curious - we live too far away to get there more than once or twice a year, but I'm just intrigued by how they actually enforce this....
