Did anyone attend or recall Frontier Day at the Park in January 2018?
It was the fun Western-themed dress-up day with focus on Frontierland, (now) Bayou Country in Disneyland Park. Yep, another unofficial park event… but the rare one celebrating those lands!
Our group of new stewards is reviving it in Disneyland Park on Sunday, February 22, 2026! @Frontier_day on IG, @FrontierDayatthePark on Facebook, also scheduled with the Disneyland Fan Club and SoCal Funseekers on Meetup. February 22 is rare to be in the lowest-priced Sunday ticket tier and open to ALL Magic Key Holders!
Think the event helps support the argument made by Hannah Anderson in her DIS June 13, 2025 article about the then-superiority of Disneyland’s Frontierland to WDW’s! The oft overlooked land filled with fun details… we hope it will avoid the fate of WDW Frontierland, Rivers of America (it should as it’s the home of Fantasmic, but…)
