Frontier and Spirit Airlines to merge in 2022

Airlines are configuring, and reconfiguring older planes, with space saver, slim line seats. Reduced padding let's the airline fit extra rows of seats keeping the same pitch.

Frontier takes this to the extreme. The phrase most pax find the new seats comfortable means 49% don't.

SW seats are more comfortable but the newest configuration isn't good.

6 years ago I bought a Skwoosh travel cushion from Amazon. It makes new airline seats, even Frontier, a lot less uncomfortable

Spirit's looking pretty good these days considering the meltdowns at Southwest and the other heavyweights, just sayin
