We have booked a partnering hotel that includes the front of the line passes but it says they are limited. How does this work? Is this first come first serve?

When we were there (end of Feb.) there was never a problem getting the quick que passes. We also were able to get them for the next day too. :)
We stayed at the Residence Inn.

LOVED IT!!! We had a 2 bed suite. Had a kitchen, couch area and a great view of Orlando and park of SW.
The bfast buffet was always hot and plentiful!
We walked to SW one day and took the I-trolly the other days. Would go back in a heartbeat!

How was that hotel?

The Residence Inn is a great hotel. We stayed there Christmas week.

You can check out my trip report (click on the link in my signature) for lots of photos of the hotel, from the room (we had a one bedroom suite) to the breakfast area to the hotel grounds to the courtyard and pool.

Wireless internet, parking, Quick Queue passes, park shuttles and an excellent hot and cold breakfast buffet are all included for free at this property.

Quick Queue passes are first come, first served. You can get them for the next day the day prior (for example, if you check in on a Sunday, you can get Sunday's passes upon arrival if they still have quantities available, AND you can get Monday's passes as well. Monday morning after 7:15 am, you can get passes for Tuesday, etc.).

We are going to sea world on Sunday but we won't get to the hotel until around 8 pm. saturday night, will all of the passes be gone by then?

It's hard to say. If you are travelling during a holiday period, it might be a concern. You will probably be fine otherwise.

Gina, I know I read in your trip report about these. Can we buy one prior to or at the gate when we get to SW?

The Quick Queue passes, you mean?

If you are staying at an official hotel of SeaWorld, you can get the passes for free (assuming they still have availability) from the Expedia Travel Desk at your hotel. They will give you vouchers to redeem at Guest Services at SW. You can get the vouchers for the passes the day before for the following day, or same day if they still have quantities to distribute.

If you are not staying at an official hotel, Quick Queue can be purchased at the park when you arrive.

Hope that helps! :)

Thanks to the PP for comments and pictures of Residence Inn. I just booked for our Thanksgiving stay. It looks really nice!

One question: I think we may drive from hotel to SW (will have AP for free parking by then). Is it easy to get from hotel to entrance for SW parking? Or do you have to go some convoluted way to actually get to the parking lot?

I think the .71 miles will be too far for my kids to walk and not sure if we will take shuttle or not (depending on how crowded and how often they travel since it'll be a busy weekend).

Thanks!

The route from the RI to the SW parking lot is easy-peasy, and takes literally only two or three minutes to drive. You will have no problem at all :thumbsup2 .

For even more pics of the Residence Inn, check out my trip report (see the link in my signature) :) . I think you will really enjoy the hotel, I know we did!
