Sorry to hear about your car.. hope you are able to fix it quickly!
:confused3 bloomin automobiles, could have been worse, could have been going to the airport:lmao:
what, they don't eat or drink? Men...

I like Palo brunch because the food is AWESOME. The high tea...well, NOT AWESOME.
Im glad it wasnt just me that thought tea was well, not awsome.
thanks to everyone for sharing all of the details from past PC cruises...... and I am most willing to share my deck 7 portside verandah with you all! and I am really glad to see that the temp there is around 90 degrees today, but someone mentioned that around day 14 it was "freezing"???? Yikes!

That is so so kind, we are so lucky (me mum,dad and Len ) to be traveling with all you guys.

By day 14, you will be approaching california and even though it can be nice and warm and sunny during the day in the winter - when night falls, so does the temperature!

Even in September at Disneyland, I wound up buying a very expensive jacket because I was cold. Of course those that came unprepared bought them this week in Florida, too. 28 degrees F, indeed!

Same here. We have done Tea three times now. The Palo Tea is still the only place were I will eat a scone.

Well next time in Scotland I will get you a decent scone;)

The sanys(sorry rolls) were what was available all over the ship.
Th sweets were good, but they are good all over the ship.
No, sorry, shouls be bread with crusts cut off into little squares on one of those teired things to serve them, The rolls I got were so thick even if they had one the rolls would not have fitted on.

Good Morning from clear, cold Cadillac! Blue skies out the window but the sun isn't all the way up yet but soon. We are supposed to get in the mid to upper 30's this weekend - heat wave!

I am so loving all the pictures that you veteran PC cruisers are posting as well as the wealth of information. Thanks to all of you.

Tea - I tried when we cruised with my folks (back in 2002) and was not inpressed so I don't think I will be joining you. But - I am all for Brunch, any day. IMHO, that is the best meal on the ship, hands down - for me anyway.

Have a great day!

I honestly think the tea service has degraded from what it once was. As a tea junkie, I still love going, but it isn't (at least in my opinion) as good as it was back in 2002-2003.

Also, in one year, expect one of these auctions....

Since the wonder will inevitably end up taking a piece of the canal with it as well.

Reading the posts today I got so excited!

Tiggfanjeff your pictures are WONDERFUL. Could you just lead us all around the ship that day? I could bring a rope and we could be like the kindergarten class!!!!

I will take up the offers from anyone who has a verandah to see the view from that perspective! It just looks so amazing.

Someone awhile back asked what we all do...I am a farmer.

WHoever the runner was that just posted, I am a runner too but have been rehabing an achilles tendon for two years. I would love to do a Disney run and am particularily interested in the Goofy. Well see how the tendon holds uo but it seems I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I would love a "tea" party at Palo. I have never done it and would be interested in the group ressie. If the food turns out to be less than spectacular, at least the company will be great!

Getting off the treadmill now and going to have a Panama Hat. So what if it's quarter past 10!

Love the PC pics!! Cannot wait until the official "schedule" is released and we can start planning with the help of all you PC veterans!!

On my first cruise the ladies did a tea - we typically travel with 20+ DISers - the second cruise we got the private room at Palo on the Wonder for brunch. Tea was fun, not because of the food, but the company. Brunch, of course, was fabulous.

Fingers are crossed my GTY becomes one of those huge aft verandahs mentioned above! :worship::banana:

I second the Tiggfanjeff tour of the ship that day!

If our plans come to fruition, I'll open my door for veranda time. In fact, I think we should make the day a movable feast around the ship. :rotfl2:

I would love to be part of the brunch group, too.

Well, I'll at least be holding the Lake Gatun Party in our room. Though, obviously, even with our room I can't fit everyone at once :) Maybe someone here will end up with one of the big balconies on the back.

One of the places I'd like to see the locks from, even if its just briefly, is one of the deck 2 rooms. I'd love to get a shot of the wall out the window.

Good morning cruisers...

I hope you are enjoying your day at sea...the temperature today is currently 75 degrees with the waves at 2 feet....

We are officially on our 2nd week of the cruise.

There is a bingo game somewhere today.. and make sure you stop and get a picture with a Disney character!

On the 2008 EB.. we had a ladies lunch (buffet in Parrot Cay) This was so that everyone could attend..even our young ladies if they chose. We really enjoyed it and the company was great fun.

One other morning we had a pajama breakfast for the whole Dis group..whoever wanted to come could meet for breakfast in our pj's. We took a group photo in the atrium.

Deck 3 will be totally behind (within) a lock wall, so you can experience the ride up or down from their also. I was having breakfast in Lumineres at a window table while going through one. I'll try to get my photos from that uploaded to a hosting site and post them for you all. May not be till after my cruise though, as I 'll be a tad busy this weekends packing and stuff! :thumbsup2
