From WDW To DL With Love - January 06, 2011

Hello all!!!!
I hope everyone had a great weekend!!!!
We booked another cruise in 2011, on the Dream. A 5 night double dip, we are cruising with some friends we made on our cruise last year. It will be great!! We will be on three cruises within 10 months......and one on them is 15 nights!!!! I'm really looking forward to this PC cruise!!
I just wanted to share my excitement!! LOL

Very cool. We looked at the Dream, but feel that it is over priced. We can take a 7 day to Mexico for almost 700 less than a 5 day on the dream. I still woukd like to go on it, but the more I read about it I just think it is to big and to busy.

Well happy to say we switched our Baltic RCL to the Med for May now. We liked both itineraries really but seeing as we will have 2 - 11 year olds I thought disney would be fun for now. My friends daughter is coming and she has never been in a cruise and lost her dad in a car accident a few years ago and I thought Disney would be a "happier" place for her.It will also be better time frame for being able to do this cruise with final payment in sept.


My question is where does everyone get the graphics to make the flag banners and logos? The board for this cruise has only 12 pages and no logo and its only 6 months away.Its funny this cruise is 13 months away and were well over 100 pages in already. Thanks for all the help!

Actually, the date we are going is $100-$170 cheaper on the Dream than the one Mexican Riviera date that I checked. I tried to compare as close as possible dates.
I will hold my opinion about the ship until I actually sail on it. I don't always listen to what people say about things because what they like and what I like might be completely different.

That is so sweet of you to take her friend with you! I hope your family and she have a magical vacation! I am sure your TA told you but make sure you have the notorized docs you need to take her with you.

As for graphics .. just search the internet for Disney clip art or whatever specific you are looking for. You then use a program to create the logo/graphic.

It sounds like it will be wonderful!!! Your friends daughter will really enjoy herself.
As far as graphics, you might find something on the creative boards here.

Well that is good. What I have heard has come from my friends at DCL. They know I don't like "busy things". They said the ship is almost alive. I will go on her one day but when the price comes down a little. Also I souks point out that price was a Sep cruise on the Wonder an 11A with no transfers. It was way less than a 11C in Aug. for a 5 day.

It has. Found out yesterday that I got a full 8 hour shift on thanksgiving. 8 hours of double time and a half. Cha ching.

And Im getting a bonus this month and also 5 nights extra to work at christmas, since I dont care about xmas, I jumped at it as we get payed a bomb. Switzerland here we come!

I always work Christmas. Since I do not celebrate it, and the pay rate is the same as Thanksgiving.

I always work Christmas. Since I do not celebrate it, and the pay rate is the same as Thanksgiving.

Will anyone be in Disneyland, December 2 -5 or Walt Disney World, December 6 -13? Would love to get together. In WDW we are on the dining plan, even though it is just DH & I, I made ressies for a party of 6 at the restaurants we like in hopes of friends joing us. Thought it is easier to go from 6 down to 2, than the other way around. Let me know

Totally OT - but OrlandotheBeagle I just noticed you are in Dunfermline!! My Great Grandfather was born there! Can I come crash at your place and do some genealogy work!!?

So wishing my info was not in storage right now!!

I really have to get to Scotland someday. Was hoping Disney Adventure would redo a Scotland/Ireland trip but alas...

Guess I will make do with a Panama Canal Cruise!!
