Hi everyone. Just got back from the Wonder. I'll need to wait until DD takes a nap to post more details and catch up on this thread but just wanted to post that we heard some interesting Dream news. Captain said the Dream will arrive in port on 1/4/2011! Luckily I didn't cancel my Radisson reservations. We should be able to check her out for before we set sail! Not sure why the inaugural cruise isn't until 1/26?? I didn't have time to ask questions, we had to leave the CC meet early.

I spent my last cruise playing Bingo with Shoshie, disnavlman, Goofprincess and Chipmerliner (I think that's the names for Shoshie, Adam, Sandy, Tony, Shirley and Doug) along with Chip It Golf and night-time adult activities in Diversions? Wave Bands - you repeaters know what I'm talking about.

That's definitely an interesting thought! I've tossed the offer out there to three of my girl friends - including another Lynne - so we'll have to wait and see what happens. (If they all three say yes, there might be sufficient roomies for all of three of us, if we want them)

It is going to be great to get to know you better Lynne.

I chatted a while we were booked on ebt, we swapped to the west.
I am afraid that my dn takes stuff for granted, last week, we were in company and talking about hols and I said " we want to do the dream but it will be in school hols so that Shaun can go" she said, " maybe I dont want to go" And I said.....nothing...I nearly cried but for various reasons it will most likely be that she has had her last cruise and vacation paid for by me.

Great news!!!
What they might be doing before the inaugural cruise are special cruises with certain people. RCCL just did that for the Oasis. The ship reached Fort Lauderdale a couple of weeks before it's inaugural cruise, and had specialty cruises with the press, contest winners and such.

Good question! I got it IN there, but it's a wee tad too large so my moose disappears. Can I make it smaller somehow? Do I have to 'host' it somewhere else?

We have it saved in photobucket, then DH resized it. You can copy mine if it's size is any better for you.
ETA - I guess looking at mine it is even bigger? Will have to work on that.

How exciting! I am going to keep my eye out..sometimes they have a TA evening aboard new ships..maybe with some luck it will be the 4th or 5th! Thanks for the info!

My 2 cents to lurkers: We (the above Bingo-ers) met because of the boards, not from talking on the boards or in the chat room; it was wearing the lanyards and doing the FEs that gave us the entree (sp? I don't know French) to talk and play.

Totally spot on... the lanyards were like a homing beacon -- you always had someone to sit with and root for. We had such a blast at Bingo cheering for each other. B-11, B, B-11....

Yahoo - it is Saturday! Snowing like the dickens and I need to go to the grocery store when all I really want to do is stay home. I did get the beginning of my Christmas baking started last night - just a double batch of chocolate chip but it is a start. Only problem with starting early is they will be gone - guess I best go organize the freezer and get them in there and out of sight of the DH.

Several pages back some of us were discussing thrift shop formals. Well, I'm losing weight and have two formals available that I would be willing to give away to anyone who thinks they might fit them. The first is a full length plain black with a low cut back with drapey white fabric (very sexy back) size 18. The second is a 15/16 two piece full length deep rose. The skirt is I believe organza over acetate, the top is halter style but laces like a corset in back so is adjustable. The top has pretty stitching detail and sequins. If anyone is interested, PM me and I can email a photo or just mail you the dress. If it doesnt work for you maybe you can pass it on to someone else. Let me know.
