Hi All!

Did anyone happen to bring home an extra personal navigator for January 18th? I finally unpacked last night and I am missing just that one. Sigh. I ended up with extras for some other days and I am willing to trade/beg/barter but not steal one for the 18th. Heck, I'll even pay someone Or how about a color copy---that will do for my personal archives Please PM me if this is possible. Thanks!

It has been difficult getting back into a routine! I miss the ship and I miss you all!

Along the same lines, does anyone else wonder why they schedule the 'crafty' activities over lapping so one has to choose? I was actually bored on Castaway day because in my mind, there was nothing to do - the next day, I could have been in 4 places at once.

Slowly getting my photos organized and cleaned up. WHY do I not take notes and do the photos every night before it gets so overwhelming? Someone PLEASE give me some instruction before my TA in September!

As far as I know the dessert buffet wasn't on the navigator, I don't think it ever has been. Your server or at least head server should have told you about it.

It was on the navigator, in the small section with restaurant hours. But, I would not have even looked there if our server didn't tell us about the buffet. After he told us, then I look at the navigator and saw it.
IMO, it should have been listed in the main section of times, there was plenty of room.

Linda, I was going to do that, but thought then the videos would get deleted straight away, and I thought others should see what was going on. I am actually surprised they are still there this morning. Plus they do need to go to DCL and some screen shots of the guy too as someone says they are going to do.

Also I don't know how to share a link via my iPad as yet either!

His parents are nice, shame they have such a kid.

I have downloaded the videos and have them safely on my computer. Well I am still working on the last one now. If they delete them, then no problem.. I have a good copy!
I don't think their parents would leave them home alone. Can you imagine the trouble they will get into with mom and dad gone for 2 weeks?

If disney does not do something it will open the doors for more problems onboard and they will lose a lot of regular cruisers. It will also make for bad publicity for them.

I am appealing to all of you on here to please write a letter or email to DCL. We need to let them know about this and that we would like to see some action taken against these young men. Our kids are able to go on U-tube and see and hear these horrible videos. I already know this kids email and phone number so I am sure disney does too. If enough of us send letters then they will be more likely to take action. I am asking them to contact U-tube to have these deleted and to make these kids accountable for their actions, if nothing else to at very least ban them from future Disney cruises.

BRRRR, Hello from Iowa, very cold but we're not getting dumped on with snow at least this year. So far it's been manageable snow!

We haven't gotten our Panama Canal postcards yet. Have others?

Dick and I are still fighting the crud. Hopefully, we'll feel back to normal this weekend so we can finally get all unpacked!!!

I highly recommend for your desk, a digital photo frame with warm, fun, beautiful cruise pictures scrolling on it! Especially nice if your window faces white stuff that is not a white sandy beach!

So when do we have a reunion cruise with all of us????

We are really anxious to not miss the announcement of the Wonder and Magic post April 2012 schedule as early as possible. I understand that those of us who are gold can reserve a cruise 102 days out and platinum 120 (or something like that). How do you find out about those cruises? I have never gotten any advance notices from DCL. My TA doesn't know any way with other then the web. I was onboard the first day I could book the PC cruise.

Appreciate any help.

That's definitely the last place on the navigator I would have looked. The only reason I look at that section is for breakfast hours.

Val, I don't think there's a specific number of days out that they release cruises, the excursions work like that. Platinum does get priority over openings when they're released, but it's usually only a week, then gold, silver, etc.

The best way to know about what DCL is planning for 2012 is just to watch the main cruise forum here on the Disboards. The rumors usually pick up prior to DCL's announcement, which is usually spot on too. You should see on the forum when and where the announcement is going to be made and it's usually a live webcast as well.

I joined the mailing list of a DCL TA and they send a newsletter when new cruises are about to be released. I can't post the TA on this board so if you want to know just send me a PM.
If you don't have a TA or your TA is not heavily into selling DCL, I would monitor the main DCL message board on DIS. There is always a thread started once people find out dates.

The days you posted about are when you can book shore excursion\Palo\Remy\etc., not when you can pre-book cruises. Usually, they open up newly released cruise dates to gold and platinum a few days or a week before silver and first timers.

Our server was great about letting us know stuff, but for whatever reason he never told us about the dessert buffet. The only reason we found out was we were talking to some folks near the midship elevators late that night and saw the line. Later on I went back to check the navigator and found the tiny print in the restaurant hours section.

I agree, it should have been listed under family activities and in the timeline section. This is the first time I've ever managed to find the dessert buffet, now I know why.

No PC post cards here either, but we did get Aruba last week. I'm trying to remember how long it took for PC cards to reach home last time. Don't be surprised if there's no postmark on them when they do finally get to you.

Oh yeah, in regards to cruise reunion, I just found out about a reunion cruise for the August 2008 PC crossing, on the Fantasy. From what I've been told about 95% of the DIS group is going on it. I don't remember how many that is, but when we did FE gifts there were over 125 cabins involved.

Wouldn't it be nice to get this group together again, preferably when school is out rather than right after the first of the year when everyone (in the northern hemisphere at least) is just going back to school after the holidays.
