Current Nassau forecast for Friday January 7th is a high of 76, low of 63 and Sunny. Not exactly scorching, but definitely passable beach weather![]()

True, but I don't see Philly or BWI on your plan for some reason
I thought SWA had direct from Houston to Orlando.
What is the # 1 item (whether it be a place, activity, event, item, thought, experience) you are looking forward to the most????
The machines onboard are HE so you should either have HE soap or only use half as much. If you have liquid in travel size you'd need to be doing 2 loads, have something to store the 2nd half in or throw half of it away. I've heard a number of people on board complaining the laundry sheets left spots on their clothes. Don't know if it is the DCL machines, the way they used them, or the product.
To cold for me. I was so hoping not to have to bring those wet suits. If you get 2 glasses of wine into me sometime I'll tell you about the time I got stuck in a wet suit I was trying on and had to call Bob into the dressing room - I am lucky the little ladies working the dressing rooms didn't call the vice squad.
You don't have to have the documents to get on-board. Print the on-line docs and you have almost everything. The only doc they take from you is the credit card authorization sheets and they have copies of that there. They also have luggage tags for those who need them/more. That said, I would be nervous too, and even if the website says all your on-line check-in is complete, I would give them a call and let them know. Note the name of the person you speak with. Check they have your correct mailing address and names. You want to make sure your registerred name and passport names are the same spelling. You don't need to deal with any problem at the dock.VacationsToGo has increased the available rooms to now include all three categories. Two weeks ago they said it was sold out. My pet peeve. In the past, we have had to cancel a DCL cruise the week of the cruise because Bob was put in the hospital. I called and cancelled our sold cout veranda room and we did not get anything back from DCL, got some back from another insurance purchased separately. DCL does not count that paid in full cruise toward my CC designation.
And I think it is complete BS. I mean when people see my DCL lanyard I wear at work, people ask me all the time about DCL. We transport these people to their cruises. The very least they can do is throw us a bone a little. I mean a FL rate over a travel instustry rate, complete and utter BS. Bad form DCL.
ok, i'm sleep deprived. does this mean if every "couple" (be it mom/daugther, huspand/wife, friend/freind etc) brings one bottle of wine they will be charged 18 for the bottle and so it's 9 a person? so do they charge by the bottle or person i guess is what i'm asking? is that what you mean coriinna? one bottle of wine about for every 2 and so 9 pp??? that's not the way i'd read before, but i wold be extremely happy to be wrong!!
speaking of which, i need to order my wine to be delivered to beach club (or yacht club or whereever it is i'm staying. this is the prob when dh makes the ressies and doesnt mention it to me over and over!!)
packing could be an issue. good thing i'm off all friday! we arrive saturday! Yeah!
So last night we finished putting the christmas decorations away and started packing!!
First item to be packed was the 12 bottles of wine in their shipper! We are working on gathering the rest of the details, but figured we would start with the important items!
I can't believe we fly out on Tuesday.....so excited to meet all of you and set sail.
With the rainy day and miserable weather we are having in San Diego I am listening to Jimmy Buffett and dreaming of sailing the seas where the sun is shining =)

Hi folks!! The Supershuttle picks us up in half an hour, and we will be on our way!!! Raining here in socal, but it won't matter soon.
I'll check in here as often as possible for more info. Looking forward to celebrating our 24th anniversary on the 10th. We met on a blind date at Disneyland, got married at the Disneyland hotel, honeymooned at WDW and the Big Red Boat.
Safe travels to you all, and I'll see you soon!
Marie
Definitely warm enough for me, I cant wait to get on that beach!
I signed up with Tracy for the scavenger hunt but I will probably doing this solo as DH has to do some work on the cruise (The only way he could get enough time off - darn US vacation times).
If there is anyone else who is interested in the scavenger hunt and is also likely to be solo - I am up for making up a team. Anyone want to to join me?

If anyone is looking for relaxing at some of the ports we are doing some activites that are low key.
Let me know if you want to meet up we are in Rm 6555 and can arrange a place and time to meet to go together.
Puerto Vallarta
We will be going to Krystal Resort. It is an all inclusive with the beach in front and the pools with swim up bars.

What is the fee for Krystal Resort? I looked but didn't see it. Of course, it could have been right there if front of me.![]()
On the Trans atlantic cruise.
We were telling them that we were coming to tritons for pj breakfast.
There was 30 of us.or something.
They ...guest services..said to the disser sorting it." I dont know if we can confirm that"
She said, I dont care if you confirm that or not I am telling you we are coming....![]()
Thanks. I'll keep it in mind. I'll let you know, maybe even after we are on the ship. When we went it 2008 it was Free just same thing of order food and drinks
I hope so. DD and I bought some cute Mr. Potato Head PJs. DS has Woody and Buzz and I wanted TS for DH too, but couldn't find any in the stores. Found a pair online, but really hated to order them online. We found a pair of PJ bottoms at JCPenney that are black with red skull and crossbones. They were on clearance for $6, can't beat thatIs the PJ breakfast on for sure?
I FINALLY got to see her reaction to "the perfect Christmas present" and the present that was to garner me the "Mom of the Century" award. I can now say what it is!!
I have worked with Disney Planet Challenge for about 10 years and have become very close to the director of that program. On Disney Channel (if you watch it, you already know this), they often have contests to win a visit to the set of one of their shows...For the past few years, that is all DD talks about "that would be so cool to see a show...that would be so cool to see a show..." I tried and tried, but DC shows are next to impossible to get tickets for, and if you do, there is no guarantee that you will get in (you stand in line with your ticket and then they let people in one by one until they run out of space).
So...I asked my friend if she could get audience screening access to DC shows and SHE CAN!! Not only can she do it, but she can pick ANY show AND the tickets are for private guests of Disney Channel (guaranteed access with no waiting in line)! I was able to pick DD's favorite show (well, next to favorite show since Demi is in rehab and SWAC is still on hold with no notice on when they will begin) and the date (one of the choices happened to fall on her 13th birthday)! She will also get to meet the stars, take pictures and get autographs!!!
This gift was from Santa (in our family "if you don't believe, you don't receive," so she is a "Believer") so it was in a beautiful bejeweled box wrapped in sparkly ribbon. Inside the box was a note, a t-shirt to get autographed and fabric pens...She cried!! It was GREAT!!!
I asked my husband what he was most looking forward to on our vacation and he said the first meal on the ship. He doesn't really know why as it really isn't that special, but he loves that lunch buffet and all the desserts. I guess it really means the cruise is has begun!!!
Is the PJ breakfast on for sure?
