What's the best way for (6) of us from DLR back to Long Beach Airport after our cruise & a couple of days @ Paradise Pier? We won't have car; our flight is 9 AM -anyone use Super shuttle? How much time to allow to get to airport? Thanks

Disney has promotional ticket deals going on right now that are good fot the time we are at DL. You can get a 3 day PH for only $8 more than a normal 2 day PH. We are only going for 2 days so no savings for us but thought I'd pass it along incase anyone is staying longer.

Make sure your DCL luggage tags are NOT attached to your luggage if you are not arriving on the 6th...DCL will gather bags with tags from the arrival carousels!! The DCL luggage tags should be attached on the 6th so that the room stewards can magicallydeliver your bags on the Wonder!!

Good afternoon all! Busy day for me catching up on all the posts, I was in NYC all day yesterday doing lunch at this great restaurant right on the rink at Rockefeller Center, then seeing the fabulous Radio City Christmas Spectacular show. I love the show, but I did like it better when I saw it several times as a kid in the 90s, with some of the more traditional elements. I guess that is why I love Disney so much, it is the one thing that never changes its core traditions and values.

Finally got my cruise docs. I was beginning to get worried for a while since they took so long! But now it finally feels so real!!!

I think i'd use UNDO and get them off or cut them off. They very easily *could* snag them before they get to the luggage carousel.

LATE DINING

To everyone that contacted me about dining together, I have submitted it to DCL. I did notice on my reservation it stated linked to others, keeping fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong. We all know how things can change last minute.

Thanks for organizing this!

Well, my laptop got a virus and I have to wait till hubby can help me fix it. Maybe then I won't be spending so much time on here and I can get more things done

Doh. Fingers crossed that you get it fixed quickly.

The programs that he gives are free to attend. The extra charge on the TA was for a private meeting with him in which he would draw a special character that you wanted, You got a little private time to visit with him. He is so nice. We did it on the TA and I think it ws $40 and he drew me a great picture of Goofy and signed with with our names and his. I framed it when I got home. I was great. However you do need to sign up for a slot. We signed up in the gift shop. If anyone is thinking of doing it I would sign up as soon as you can. It fills up quickly.

That is neat. I will keep an eye out for that. Does anyone know when they start the sign ups?

I know I have tons to read to get caught up, but I received a call Monday night from Disney Cruise Line saying Captain Henry would be our Captain for sure....as sure as anything is with Disney!

Talk to everyone again soon. It is so good to be here at my daughter's and out of the snowy nasty drive Thank goodness for my son!

Also, my grandson's football team won the court battle and will be playing for the WV state high school AAA state championship Saturday at 7:00. I can hear it on line.

The cruise site has been updated. 1 group dropped (newbydisney) and 1 group added plus another group added a stateroom for a total change of +3 staterooms.

There are still a few GTY statuses, and 1 that is a FE so that needs to get updated Other than that, it's pretty much all set. Now, to start planning out events.

Sent another email regarding the wine M&G today.....

I noticed the FE list dropped from 95 to 92...at least I thought it was 95. Can you tell me which cabins dropped/added for FE? I already made up my FE bags since we are only a month from cruise. Just did it Sunday actually.
Also, I noticed in the post-cruise stay area of website, I'm not grouped with the others that are staying at GC. We booked a 1br through DVC so I'm pretty sure we are at the villas too. Very minor detail.


I'm so glad I'm not the only one frustrated with all the sleeveless dresses. I'm not saying I don't have flabby arms but I wanted a sleeved dress more for staying warm. My FL blood can not take the cold restaurants (I was freezing in Palo last cruise) and I think it will be cooler out on deck at night. I went to Ross today and found a dress I really liked but, of course, is sleeveless. But I really liked it and was only $20 so I bought it and I'll try to track down a silk bolero to go with it.

I phoned them on Saturday to ask this very question for the panama canal certificates. They couldn't tell me for sure who was the captain.

They will get them before you see them. I would cut them off and use 3" clear packing tape to put them back on.

Do you have a Payless near you? They have larger sizes (and they display by size too, which helps). Also Burlington Coat Factory had some, but the last time I looked, they all looked like the kind of shoes a transvestite might wear. (6" heel, bright red, bright purple - yuk!)
