From WDW to DL With Love - January 06, 2011 part 4

I am trying to find something to wear for this night. I looked at the Mexican Wedding Shirts for my husband but they were kind of expensive on line. JCPenny has them but the only sizes available were small and medium. I have no idea what I am going to wear- just may settle for a print shirt. Anyone have any ideas?

I looked at ebay for Guayabera (Mexican Wedding shirt) as someone recommended (sorry, can't remember perhaps WeLuvDCL???). Anyway, they were reasonably priced. Then I just search Mexican women tops and thought this one was cute http://cgi.ebay.com/Hippie-Vintage-...?pt=US_CSA_WC_Shirts_Tops&hash=item2c57a5cfa8 . It is available in various colors. Since we have a huge Mexican population here in the Houston area, I'm going to check the local flea markets within the next week or two and see if I can find something new. If not, I may order from ebay or just dress cruise casual that night.

OK, at the risk of offending anyone, please check your local Goodwill. Many of those type of shirts are given to them and they are almost brand new. Send them to be dry cleaned and no one will ever know where you got one. I was in there during Halloween and saw one with the tag still attached. It was $49 dollars. Yup, $49. For that price, and if DH would wear one, I would have bought it. Now, I'm kicking myself for it. But I didn't even think about it.

Its such a nonsense.. buying prezzys for folk you dont see all year, and thats what even worse.... theres a reason I dont see them all year
I am such a hypocrite.

But I am thinking when I get it out the way I can concentrate on cruise and my few nights away planning.

I've almost finished mine, which is good, because once it is all finished, I don't have to worry about the crowds at the shopping centres, and I can start to think about other things like my USA holiday and this cruise!!!

Out n about with Scouts tomorrow, then 5am work start Monday.

Oh, other exciting news - I'll be letting work know that I won't be available ppt anymore - casual at best, as the school have pulled through with an awesome contract for next year ! Awesome news for me !

Thanks for all the info on the Mexican shirts. Will try the sites.It is a cloudy day here. Going to help my daughter at her craft booth at our church holiday fair. Tomorrow our camping group is going to see the play White Christmas at the Bushnell. That should get us in the holiday mood.
