Has the Pixie Dust Upgrade / Room Assignment Fairy appeared for anyone? I just checked our reservations (we were assigned a room...specifically selected it and thought I had placed a do-not-upgrade order) and we are now "GTY"...taking deep breaths and counting backwards before I call DCL...

9 weeks...and counting...counting...counting...down...

That doesn't seem right at all! You shouldn't be moved to GTY status! Ugh...sorry for your trouble.

I hope Ducky is on the ship as I would love to get a ducky print. Have not done any shirts yet. I am not sure Mom would wear one. The person wanting to go to Universal they are 3 ways. Taxi one way is about $40. rental car was cheap about $45 with tax but they charge $15 to park. Mears will pick you up and drop you off when ever you want for $18 a person r/t must call 24 hours. We wanted to do that but it did not happen we did other things.

I hope so too. He was on our Mediterranean Cruise in 2007.

One of my most treasured possesions is a Mickey picture we bought from Paradise Pier Hotel when they were remodeling. It was on our floor the first time we stayed there and every morning as I pased it I would say "race you to the elevator, Mickey!" Now it is my hallway and I just love it! It somehow looks so much bigger in my hallway!

Oh the All-Seeing / All-Knowing DCL....a lovely call with DCL Guest Relations...As of October 18th, DCL has foreseen a mechanical / maintenance issue with our stateroom for the duration of our PC Crossing cruise! Unable to reach us by phone, they moved our ressie# to GTY until the smoke signals arrived (I was looking at my ressie for Summer 2011 for a completely different reason, I am dreadful of what might have been had I not looked)...many DCL apologies abounded and there are still rooms available in my category (though not the sideways ones) and on the same deck...so to the BACK (AFT) of the ship we journey...I have sent PM to Jeff for update to the FE list / website...thanks all for the well-wishes...

Well at least that is better being able to choose your room.

Strange thing though to have a room out for that length of time. I'm presuming it is out of commission now, so that would be over 2 months. Very odd.

Fingers crossed! He has an amazing talent and is a very gracious man.

I asked him while on the WBTA in September and he said he would be on the Panama Canal cruise too. He does a presentation while drawing characters and at the end those drawings are given away. You can also schedule time with him and he draws a the character of your choice as you chat. It's great.

That is good news!

He was on our last TA cruise and we did schedule a time with him. He is a great guy-very personable. We did have him do a picture for us= Goofy = of course. When we got home we framed it and it is hanging in our family room. Everytime I go by it- it brings back good memories.

And more good news.

Alan...where are you?! When you return, I thought you'd get a kick out of this...A new guy at work is a die-hard 49er and DODGERS fan! He, therefore, LOVES the Niners and HATES the GIANTS! WHAT??!!! I, of course, told him he was a little bit...unbalanced.
But, I'm sure you and I can agree that he is HALF right!!
Which reminds me...Now that SF may be rising from the ashes...GO NINERS!!!!!! Of course, with a record of 2 and 6...hmmm...It can happen...right?!

For those of you waiting for your invoices..I have a test subject! As soon as she tells me it worked..I will start sending them out.

It will come to you from "Once Upon......" and the email address it will show will be desiree@**********dot com ( email address purposely * since it gives the name of my company and I know I can not post that. Just so you know what you are looking for).

If you want it shipped, I am simply adding in the cost of the postage and the envelope. I am trying to get it as close to the exact amount (I am using USPS website for postage pricing).

You can also pay and just notate in your email that you want to pick it up. Or you can wait until you get to FL. and pay/pick it up.

Where was your original cabin? My list still shows us in our original cabin on 6 which is a sideways room.

We were in 5501...I wanted to stay on the 5th floor more than the sideways room, so we are now in the AFT section though looking at the website we are really close to other DISers...next to CLHARMON and across the hallway from EMUM...

I am telling my kids by a puzzle on Christmas morning.

I think someone here suggested this to me months ago when I joined the thread. I can't remember who, but thank you!

I would like to use the logo we voted on for the T-shirts, you know our "official logo" that Jeff has used on the website. I need it larger because of the quality issues for the jigsaw. Can someone hold my hand through how to do this or could someone email me a larger version of the image?

We probably went through all this with the t-shirts but I wasn't ordering one so I didn't pay close attention...

We need to get transportation from Paradise Pier to LAX. I called Supershuttle and they quoted $30 for the two of us. That seemed reasonable to me. Then we need transportation from Las Vegas airport to Treasure Island Hotel and then back to the airport. They quoted $80 from the airport to the hotel and then $76 from the hotel to the airport. This seems quite high to me. Can anyone give me some advice on this or another alternative. Thanks

I think a cab would be cheaper from Las Vegas Airport/Treasure Island.Ireally don't know but a cab from Las Vegas Airport/NYNY a couple of years ago was about $8.
