Hello fellow PC cruisers...is everyone getting as excited as me??? I'm ready to leave this snow and get on board the cruise of a lifetime...who's with me?

Whew all caught up.

Started my official pre-packing packing ritual. That means I have a pile of stuff in my bedroom. going to get the luggage out and start putting clothes in. ten to make a final list of things that need to be bought or found.

WOOT! Getting excited!

Need to get postcards for exchange and work on door signs!

Time is ticking quickly. Just started packing today. Noticed on my docs that Ducky Williams will be offering a class? Does any one know what the fees are?

Is it wrong to wish everyone else's cruises away so ours can get here quicker?

It's just around the corner and I for one can't wait! Come on Birthday (next Sunday), then Christmas (Combining gifts are NOT allowed...so just remember that for those who have children born in December, we don't like that ) then New Year's then FINALLY the Cruise!

We told our kids the other day that DH wasn't coming on the trip. That DCL had decided that he couldn't come. They didn't believe us, so we showed them our cruise docs that only had the info and tags for the kids and myself.

Oh, we had them going...

(DH details have probably been sent to our vacation home in FL as I put that down as his address).

DD asked me to phone DCL and get him put back on the trip. Bless her

For the first time in years, DH and I talked about moving south and out of the snow. Up until last year, I really didn't mind it but I will say, that has certainly changed. We shall see.

I would so so definatly do it, I dont know why the hell everybody doesnt move south in usa?

Did anyone else read about the Panama Canal closing last Wednesday? It's open again, but was closed because of flooding.....

I can't imagine being on a cruise ship that is suppose to go through the canal and have them tell them it's been closed....

I sure hope the rain season ends down there, I know it's suppose to end in November, but it sounds like it's been going on and on....

I remember seeing a website where people had made comments about individual rooms on the Disney ships. Can not remember if it was oon these boards or somewhere else. Has anyone seen this in the past and could tell me where it was at?

Still tons of snow around here, we are so sick of it,
Not much else happening, a new week, hope its better than last.
Ive got lots of pics I want to download and show you guys of the snow last week, my backs better, I swear, I love my house but many more winters like this digging thed rive and I will be looking for another house I can tell you.

You could say that about about those in Scotland and moving down to England!!! Or us for that matter moving from the north to the south.

However, if I lived in the US, I think I would want to be where it is warm.

Speaking of combined gifts. One year I was sick and in the hospital right before my birthday (I was 12). A "friend" gave me a Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Get Well card. Not a gift, a card......

You know it is like Freezing right now in the WDW area. This week it us going to get below freezing. Our weather in L.A. is better than FL right now.

All these December 19th birthdays! DD is turning 9 on the 19th and I have to say having a birthday the week before Christmas is soooo hard. Even as a family we struggle some years to celebrate right on her birthday. We did her kid party on the 4th this year and I'm so glad we did. Everyone is over-committed the weekend before Christmas. There is just way too much going on!

Two of my boys are right after Christmas and that is so much easier. They are on Jan 1st and 2nd. That is not only easier, its nicer for the kids too.

And lets not even talk about all the "stuff" they get that they just don't need. As the kids have gotten older they have started asking friends to donate to Toys for Tots in lieu of gifts. In return, we let them pick out a special gift. A bunch of my DS 10's friends all do the same thing.

I have to whine for a second. It is exhausting to do Christmas for 5 kids and birthdays for 3 all in 2 weeks! Then I remember the Christmas we spent in the NICU and I get over it!

Happy early birthdays!! (In case I don't get back on here next weekend)

OH6, so sorry to read about the loss of your pup. We're a bunch of pet lovers here and we can all feel your pain. A sudden death is the worst, and not to be there -- again I'm so sorry for you!

Our kit, Chessie, gets her one-year shots today. She won't be happy with us, but at least our vet comes to the house and she won't have to get in the car.

We're getting super excited too. I'm ready to start counting hours, not days. Tomorrow, Carly and I are down to teens before we leave for WDW.

Cleaning house, organizing clothes, compiling FE gifts and homeschooling this week.

Cruise site is again updated with everything I've got in terms of pre/post cruise stays, room assignments, rooms, pictures and pretty much everything.

We're now past 16% of the staterooms.

Someone once asked about printing the FE list. For now, just print the main list. I'm going to get something together for just the FE rooms soon. To print the main list, click the printable version link at the top of the list.

Also, if your stuff IS NOT shown, please let me know again as I definitely missed it and I apologize.

3mm - I am feeling your pain. DD10 birthday is Christmas Eve. I usually do her birthday early. And this year..I find myself still without anything planned.

You are right about the amount of stuff they receive all at one time. It's kinda crazy.

For all of you will snow still - be safe. I will stay here on the West Coast and away from the bugs, snakes and humidity of Florida. We have low 60's today.
