Quickly wanted to wish Alan good thoughts for whatever's happening. Hope all's well.

Also, Corrina - yes, D&B bags are also multi-coloured (I own one in purple - saw your post on main board). Also, I'm interested in w/shop 1. Would DD1 be able to tag along at a responsible 13 ? I can understand if not, though.

Better get going - still need to ice cupcakes !

Congrats to all those who have docs... what kills me is we are less than an hour from where the docs are mailed from. And we're among the last to get them....

I was thinking the same thing about docs. Doesn't make much sense but I'm not worried, I have my on-line docs filled out. I didn't use a TA so maybe that's why?

On our last cruise, I was one of the last to get our documents, but one of the first this time. I have to say though that we are usually amongst the first so they must mail out international ones first for some reason.

I think you're right Marilyn. We've never gotten our docs early, always late. They probably mail the international docs early to ensure they get there on time.

I live in the LA area, and I thought Route 66 starts in CA!!!

Route 66 goes between LA and Chicago so you were right to think that it starts in CA.

We got our docs yesterday . Better yet, all of the information was CORRECT! I always get nervous about things getting mixed up and creating a hassle later.

So excited to see everything on paper - I can't believe how quickly this is coming up. We leave for Orlando on December 31 . I have a TON of stuff to do before then.

Yes it is coming very quickly now. We leave on the 3rd January, and with Christmas before then it is sure to fly by.

No Docs here yet. My TA said they have been processed at Disney so should be soon. My TA is 90 min away but have a MRI of my knee there next week so will pick them up there. Also found out that the person who made my FE will be at WDW prior to the cruise so I am going to try and meet up with her. Alan I hope you get to go. When hubby had to cancel I thought about canceling too but this is what I wanted to do so Mom is going and it will be funtoo.

So if we booked with DU the documents come from them? Do they snail mail or FED EX them. I got a call from FED EX this am, someone sending something to me sent to my area code and street not street address. So I will get it this afternoon....hoping hoping hoping

So much for reshopping our Nov 2011 Dream cruise when we board in Jan, the only categories left are all verandahs and I wanted to try one of the Family Ocean View cabins that sleep 5, I think we're currently in a category 8C. Maybe we'll get lucky and some cancellations with occur.

No cruise docs yet for us.

Question???? We are platinum and a benefit is no charge at Palo's. I made a reservation for us already. I just figured the charge would be removed when we got there. Has someone actually done this already? How does it work????

I have not gotten a call to book our dinner but did it myself for when I wanted it. If they don't call, so be it. They will remove the charge for you if and when push comes to shove.

Linda - did you book your dinner or are you waiting for them to call?? You might want to try booking a dinner now so you have what you want.

When are you going? We are booked on the 11/27/11 4NT. We have 4 cabins total, a little family reunion.

I just heard from DCL. She has not confirmed the Champagne Girls nor the mixology tasting. However, she did say, if the tasting was approved she would need the name (name the reservation is in), cabin number and number of tickets to charge each cabin. Sounds promising to me. If you want to start sending me your names, please PM me. Look on page 181 for the list to confirm your count and room number too. I will not give anything to DCL until I hear about the cost and get your individual approval. Val

On our last cruise, we booked Palo ourselves and had no problem. When they bring you the bill at Palo, it should be $0.00 but you can add additional tip. If it's not $0.00 then I would say something to the waiter.

We also had no issues with getting the $25 of $100, it just takes a day or 2 to be posted to your account.

We did get a call to arrange for our free room service item.
