In all honesty don't you think the picture of Disney Magic and Disney Wonder is a photoshop not a photoshoot! I am sure they will do the same with Disney Dream.

We gathered our things and left the beach about 3 p.m. The last call for boarding was 3:45. And at 4:00 there was a cast-off party on the deck by the Goofy pool. But just before we left the dock, the island tram pulled up to the dock and about 50 cast members hopped out wearing white Mickey hands and waving good by to the maiden voyage of the Wonder. After we had backed out, Jim, the cruise director, announced there was a once in a lifetime sight out on the horizon. It was the Disney Magic coming to meet us just off the island. To see 2 cruise ships the size of the Magic and Wonder heading right for each other is overwhelming! But the Magic had come to meet us. We're sure it was a publicity event! Both ships held at 45 degree angles, very close together, while a speed boat zoomed around taking pictures and a helicopter joined the fun with a few photographers. But it was exciting and lots of fun!

Talked to Esmerelda and we are all booked on the zip line tour but she said we are the only ones signed up. Is that right?? Just worried she didn't book us with the group, although we did get our 25% off.

Whew! I was getting worried that I hadn't heard from anyone. This puts us at 18. I doubled checked with Esmeralda and there is no deadline to sign up. She actually said the deadline was 1/18 so you could call and book from the ship if you want. Also, transportation only people are included in the count and also get the 25% discount. I added the other phone number and a who's going list to the original post.

What an amazing story! That is one that you would remember forever, isn't it. Maybe we will have something like that to write about! That is true "Pixie Dust" and I have always been a firm believer in Pixie Dust. I am the one who cries everytime Tinkerbell spreads the pixie dust over the ship! My husband would always look at me, put his arm around me give me a kiss and say "oh, no here come the tears!" Can't help it, I am very sentimental!

Yep...tears are falling here too. I will be a weepy mess if we do have all the ships together--I think it will be the feeling I get in my heart every time I hear the "Star Spangled Banner" -- a mixture of pride and awe! What a great moment it would be

We are definitely booking (4 of us in our family)... I'm going to call next week. Been a crazy week and haven't had a chance to call. So, we'll bring it up to 22 people. Getting close to the 25! I'll let you all know once I've booked us with Esmeralda.

Count me in, too! I cry at the drop of a hat if anything even remotely sentimental happens! I'm sure this will be no exception! As soon as we get close to the port and the ship comes into view the tears start. My kids just laugh and quietly take bets as to when the waterworks will begin! And let's not even talk about the first time the horn blows!!!

Of course, this time I'll have a new reason to cry since it will be our frist time ever on the Wonder, and we're BRINGING HER HOME!!!

Yea, I've finally gotten caught up, we're PIF, we've decided on excursions, and Carly and I have our Florida flights.

Sorry to everyone who had to cancel! Welcome to all the cruisers. I look forward to having time to be on here daily now and getting to know everyone better.

Des, Lisa and Elizabeth dropped out if the cruise in the spring. So, unless they've been able to rebook and I missed it, they should be taken off the SM list

As far as the bracelets go, I agree with everyone who suggested we just order them and pay individually. Holly has volunteered her help and I'll be getting with her and will post info soon

If any of you saw the news clips of the flooding in Arlington, Texas on Wednesday the area they were showing is about 2 miles from my house

One more thing . . . we were on the Magic Christmas 2008 and had the pleasure of being on CC when the Wonder sailed up. They were in the area cruising around waiting for their turn on the island and decided to come by. It was amazing! The captains had a horn-blowing competition. I so hope we have the opportunity to see all three ships together!

My opinion exactly. Screw the sentimental side of this (Sorry if that seems a bit harsh, I don't mean it that way), but I'm looking forward to the horn battle.

Also, the website changes have been fast and furious over the last day or two. I'm trying to keep up with the cancellations and additions and I think the list itself is pretty current. I'm going to get started on the FE and SM stuff over the next week so that all appears on the website too. Please remember that if you are participating in FE, we will need your actual cabin number. You might not have it now, and that's ok, but we will need it. Let me get everything else cleaned up on the list and go from there. I had another huge website project drop in my lap, so I need to handle that as well, but I should have lots of time to keep our site current.

Time seems to be creeping by so slowly. I can't wait for the 23rd when I can book excursions and Palo. I try not to wish my life away, but I want to make sure to get the excursions I really want!
