Really good day for me.:banana::yay::banana::banana:

And they have no problem with me taking off for the cruise. Now I can book another room and take DH and DS#3 on the cruise also. And DS#3 is now potty trained. :cool1: Over 10 years of changing diapers is over.:woohoo:

And all of the boys are off camping this weekend - I have the whole house to myself.

Hope everyone else has a great weekend also. :flower3:

Congrats!!!!!!

Has anyone done the Discover Scuba excursions before? I would like to take myself and my DD so that we can start the certification process, but I wonder if it is worth it??

The saying goes, once you take your first breath under water, you're hooked. Same is definitely true for me. I ABSOLUTELY love scuba diving and discover scuba was my second experience ever with it (First was my college RA letting me try his gear in the pool at school:laughing:) If you have questions about it please feel free to either PM me or ask me here, I love sharing my experience of scuba diving...and if there were a group of people that wanted (or just you two) and wanted to know someone that was going, let me know what port you're looking at and i may be convinced to do that instead of a two tank dive :)

That is my favorite DCL commercial. It might be because I have my own little souvenir from DCL...........and one from WDW too.:rolleyes1

Is anyone interested in an informal improv comedy workshop for the adults? I'll be happy to host one during a sea day if we have some willing vict..er.. volunteers.

I will take this moment to personally guarantee that by the 3rd night anyone that hangs out in wavebands will no i have no problem making a fool of myself in the name of having fun. So I'd be more than willing to be a victim an er or a voluntEAR!

(do you see what I did there?! :rotfl:)

Warning to anyone going toe to toe with Amy in improve - you will lose!

October 8th---midnight East Coast (USA) time it is for making reservations online for us poor silver folks. Sigh. Hopefully this cruise is not very crowded---yes, we do take up 10 per cent of the ship---but I'm hoping for a reservation for Palo for my birthday dinner--at least!

I'm also willing to sacrifice myself as the odd-woman-in if anyone needs to make up numbers for private functions at Palo! My friends at work tell me that strangers are just people who I haven't met to make friends yet:)

I would seriously recommend booking palo the closest night you possibly can for your birthday if it's supposedly full and then just make the request to the manager when you get on board in wavebands. It's Disney... I wont even go into the story of what they did for me on my 21st, but suffice to say, I know that they will do everything they possibly can to give you that magic moment.:thumbsup2

I emailed them and they said they did not know of any additions or changes for the ports right now. We want to scuba dive in Manzanillo and told them that. They said try the snorkeling excursion.

Whoever said that, is ridiculous, and has never even talked to a scuba diver in their LIFE :headache:. But that's just my opinion as a scuba diver! :lmao:

Well, that may be.
However, I was thinking more along the lines of I'd coach an improv workshop, not host a competition. Very informal.

I keep forgetting we'll have Wavebands instead of Rockin' Bar D! I prefer RBD's decor, but don't mind the tradeoff for having the upper deck of the Cove. :)

If snorkeling is like scuba diving, then DCL is just like Louis and Clark's canoe. Obviously, the person who responded has never done either.

You know, I did hear that Louis and Clarke had an AWESOME horn that rocked every other canoe's behind...:cool1:

Just spent all night redoing my resume to create my CV so I could write up a biosketch for school.... not nearly as interesting as it sounds!

Thankfully while Jeff is driving monorails tonight (in a monsoon) and it was just me and Jack tonight, Jack went to bed without a hitch. Tomorrow morning Jeff and Jack are headed to Lowe's to make a school bus. If anyone has a little one who likes to build things, Lowe's does build clinics for little ones every few weeks. This week is a school bus with a chalkboard top. It's marketed for older kids, but there is no age limit and it's free.

On that note, it's bedtime

Sounds fun, count us in. Sad to say I'm not a wine drinker, but I'll bring some from a small town near us that no one has heard of...Fiddletown in Amador County.
I live 20 minutes from you and never heard of it. What is it close to?

Hi all. I spent the day at Disneyland. I saw the last show of World of Color. I took a few photos of the exit show so you all can see how vibrant the colors are. I don't think my iPhone can do it justice.

Well I will be in Wavebands everynight and I do mean that. I will not be turning in early any night.

Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!

Day shift, bumping us back to the top :) (Assuming Alan is posting BEFORE he goes to bed ;)

That is a good assumption. I am getting ready to go to bed. It is about 4AM here in the city of Angels. Saturdays are the days I go in early to work. I need to be in at 1:45 PM instead of 3:30 PM. So I will be hitting the hay in about 10min.

Thanks for the photos alan. I hope the World of colour is showing the weekend we are there.

And, isn't it just fantastic when diaper changing days are over!!!

I know they were just trying to be helpful, but......

Where are you all diving this trip?
