Good Morning Happy Cruisers!

For the young man with disability who wished to go sport fishing, I've been doing some research. Here are some resources with which to start your inquiries.

http://www.disaboom.com/destinations/wheelchair-accessible-sport-fishing-in-los-cabos Larry Cooper (866) 727-7986

Jerry "Bubba" Hallstrom
Costa Rica Fishing Report
8841-5109 in Costa Rica
2778-7217 in Costa Rica
1-800-9SAILFISH in the USA

This one doesn't "say" accessible, however, it's worth inquiring - if they couldn't take you, it's possible they know of someone who could. English appears to be their first language.http://www.gomanzanillo.com/fishing/index.htm

One more http://catalogosdigitales.com/trogones/index.htm A travel agency mentioned in Frommers Costa Rica as having experience arranging travel for persons with disabilities.

I'm sort of back. We had someone quit this week at work, which sucks when you are an IT staff of 4. In any case, the list is current with some additions and deletions. I have a couple of photos to get up at some point today. The deckplan map is current.

266 people in 99 staterooms, traveling as 87 parties.
This is 11.08% of the normal guest capacity(2400) of the Wonder.
This is 9.85% of the maximum guest capacity (2700) of the Wonder.
This is 11.29% of the available staterooms(877).

Holler if you see anything or anyone missing.

I'm also working on putting the port maps up in the links page.

Happy Friday everyone! A day off tomorrow - yippee! But I will need to work some on Sunday but that is ok, a day of rest is a good thing.

Sorry to hear you will not be joining us Aunt KatKat - tough decisions. But, I wish your DH well and hope that his interview leads to good things. Fingers crossed.

DH is camping this weekend so the dogs and I are on are own again. Hopefully it will remain cool and I can get some stuff done around the house.
Have a good one all.

I got the same response from DCL. I asked them if they knew when we would be able to call Cruiseline to book when they "update their inventory" for 2011, and they told me that they expect it to be within the next few weeks. I already looked at the prices and they seem reasonable enough to me, the convenience of not having to pack it for such a long and varied (FL, cruise, CA, then home) trip is worth the extra money of renting onboard vs. at home.

I agree. I think the extra rental cost is worth the convenience factor. By now DH is thinking he might want to buy one. The only time we ever dress up for dinner is on cruises. Arizona is pretty laid back.

Wow, Linda, that is incredible information. Thank you so much for taking the time to do that. I really, really appreciate it!

I just have to say that it is AMAZING the number of occasions you find to wear a tux if you own one. And then everyone is SO impressed! It's really kind of fun.

Good evening from a dull and grey Seattle! Take away the accents and you might think we live in the same place! :lmao:

This is why we love cruising anywhere there is sunshine!! :cool1:

Have a great day... I'm off to bed!

lol, yes, I would swap in a minute

I know what you mean, len rented a kilt a few times then bought one for our first cruise, he wears it a lot more now that he has it, he has easily made it worth buying it and he is very proud of "his kilt"

Well you know what that means dont you???????
You will have to book more cruises:thumbsup2

Really good day for me.:banana::yay::banana::banana:

Not only is the weather beautiful here-sunny, in the low 80's with a slight breeze--I just received a job offer from a company that has been on Fortune Magazines 100 best companies to work for(three years running). And they have no problem with me taking off for the cruise. Now I can book another room and take DH and DS#3 on the cruise also. And DS#3 is now potty trained. :cool1: Over 10 years of changing diapers is over.:woohoo:

And all of the boys are off camping this weekend - I have the whole house to myself.

Hope everyone else has a great weekend also. :flower3:
