I do the same thing! :thumbsup2 Just log in to the site as normal, and click on "Castaway Club". Click "view my cruises" on the left side panel. Your past and future cruises will come up, click on the reservation number you want to look at.
My prediction (without any inside information) is that excursions won't be available until September 1st. :flower3:

Oh, that worked....Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Ok, I’m really going to show my ignorance here. It seems people use TA in many ways. I'm thinking sometimes people are talking Trans=Atlantic. Like orlandothebeagle, Lynne, is doing a ta cruise. Sometimes it sounds like someone is going to ask their ta a question (travel agent??). Am I right on this? Am I just confused?

I can’t believe the cruise is so close now! Wow! I’m getting excited. We're trying to decide if we can afford for me to miss 3 days of work (unpaid) and to also fly and eat so take a long weekend this coming weekend in the World. We're DVC so as long as they have a room, that's paid for. We're thinking this weekend for 2 reasons=- our 31st anniv and DD will be there. Haven’t seen her since ...May Jen? Or June, except for my father’s funeral, and while I believe I looked functional, I remember little. So either a long weekend in the world with DH and DD or no vaca till Jan!! Such a decision. And it's the end of the fiscal year and I work for the gov't.... (As a contractor that’s why no pay). Will let you know and see if anyone would be down there if we go.

Have a good dry Sunday (it's been raining like crazy here)!
Sherri

Your right, ta travel agent I sould have said trans atlantic because I never have a clue what all the codes you guys use are.

I meant to say, The only reason I was bored with football talk is coause I dont understand it or what you were talking about , didnt mean to be rude to all you football fans.

Sherri: Yes, you are correct. :) TA is both transatlantic and travel agent depending on the context.

Disboard initials are really quite simple. TA is TransAtlantic or Travel Agent. EBTA is East Bound TransAtlantic or Extremely Busy Travel Agents who won't return my calls argggh... WBTA is WestBound Transatlantic or Wild Boars ate my Travel Agents which must be why they won't return my calls.

Depends entirely on context and who your travel agent is....

:rolleyes1

...Linda, we met on a bus to/from DTD during our January wdw trip - looking forward to seeing you again on the pc cruise...

Imagine you remembering that! Welcome back to the board :goodvibes I'll look forward to seeing you again.

Home again. Only found two shirts and nothing else at the outlets during tax free weekend. :(

:confused3 your shopping talents needs worked on.

No LIE! I HATE to shop for clothing - and do not do it well. Unfortunately, nothing I HAD fits, so unless I want to cruise in a sack, it's necessary.

If only I could be that lucky. :dance3: Outlets are definitely my weakness.
Maybe I should take you shopping with me. I musta tried on 20 pairs of shoes :(

Would the person who is wrangling the zip line group please post or pm me? I'd like to put your information on the first page, and one of my room mates wishes to zipline :scared1:

Hello everyone,

It has been a very long time since I've posted here. Just been very busy. But, now that the cruise is getting closer, I'm starting to think more and more about it. We are getting very excited.

We have decided to go to WDW before the cruise for a few days. So, we'll be arriving at WDW on Jan 2, and then heading to the ship on Jan 6. We decided to do this because it worked in our schedule, but also given this will be the dead of winter, for our peace of mind, we wanted to fly to Orlando several days before the cruise to account for possible weather delays and flight cancellations due to possible bad weather.

But, hopefully there will be no weather issues, and we'll get to Orlando uneventfully on Jan 2!

Also, for the person keeping track of staterooms, we changed our starteoom from a Cat 9A (porthole) to a 5A GTY, so we have a veranda, but don't have our room assignment yet. Can't wait to find out our stateroom!

And, I originally said we wanted to participate in the FE gifts, but I think we are not going to do that afterall. I don't think we'll have the space to pack gifts, and I don't think I'll have the time to even shop for gifts.

But, would love to hook up with anyone here while on the ship. My parents are also joining us on the cruise, too, which we're excited about!

Take care and see you all on Jan 6!! Can't wait!!

Kathy

Kathy I know what you mean about space for stuff in your bags. DW and I have never done a FE because we only pack what we need so we can leave room for things we know we are going to buy. Since we don't need FE gifts we do not bother with extra roundly them as we like to travel with as little as we can get away with. So don't feel bad. For this cruise we will probably have extra space for a special Litho, and keepsake for the voyage as on past crossings. Also a reminder, for those traveling SWA you can start making your return trip reservations starting Tuesday. Remember no one luvs you or your money than we do.

yes, we are the same... very light packers, and we just like to take only what we need. Plus, we want to leave room for anything we might buy at any of the ports.

It is such a fun idea, though!

Can't believe how close Jan 6 is getting!! :)

Love it!

Kathy here is the kicker, I refuse to do laundry on vacation. I mean what's the point of vacation if I am doing chores. I will be gone for 17 days. So I need room for 17 different shorts and shirt combos not to mention evening wear. My DW is a great packer but this going to be a lot of stuff again.

That's great! I also do not like doing laundry on vacations, but I also do not like packing a lot! haha. So, I think on this cruise, I might actually break down and do laundry. We'll be going to WDW first, so we'll be gone for 3 weeks. That'd be a lot of clothes to pack to have clean clothes every day without doing laundry. I did do laundry once on a previous Disney Cruise because I mis-judged when we packed and ended up packing TOO light, and it was a pain because the laundry room was always full.

So, I discovered on either port days or very late at night is a good time to do laundry.

Anyway, I'm still trying to figure out how to pack light for 3 weeks... ;) ;) (We have 2 kids, too).

But, I'm with you on not wanting to do laundry on vacation!!

I've been reviewing the excursions from previous panama canal cruises to get ideas. Looking at other cruise lines and google on ports. Wondering which port will offer whale watching.:fish:

Cabo will be the one with the best chance of finding a whale watching excursion. We may get it in PV but not 100% sure.

:rotfl2::rotfl2: I'm glad mine returns my calls!

I was told by conceirge that they were suppose to be posted this past Friday, obviously that was wrong!

Has anyone heard anything about the posting of port adventures yet??????:surfweb:

I don't know where I read this, but I thought I saw somewhere that the port adventures will be posted the first week of September. I could be wrong, but that is what I've had in my mind.
