Hi Everyone!

I wanted to jump on and introduce myself. My DH, DS (who will have just turned 3) and I will be joining everyone for the cruise through the Canal.

We are SO excited. This will be our second DC (we went on the Baltic in June for our first cruise and LOVED it so much that we're back already).

I wasn't on this board for the first cruise but saw all the cool FE and kept hearing about DISBOARD so had to check it out this time.

I have finished assigning the SM!

I will be sending them out via PM - hopefully by tonight. You should see a PM from either myself or from A Disney Princess (this is my DD old account but my sister is going to use it to assign some so I don't know who she assigned to us - I want to play too! )

Once you get your PM, could you please respond with a confirmation that you recieved it so I can mark you off of my list (please delete the information sent to you so I don't see who my sister assigned to us). Also - please let me know if I have somehow managed to assign you someone who is in your traveling party. I am mostly concerned with the GTY cabins as the rest I have made sure they do not match thier assignment.

If you have a SM that has a GTY cabin, please make sure you check the updated roster once cabin numbers are assigned so you have the up to date info. I will also watch for it so I can PM you.

If you have any questions - please let me know! Thank you for participating! The SM sign-up is officially closed! I will let you know the location for the reveal as soon as I can.

Jordak on the design thread customized this design for me. If you interested I'm sure he could make it more generic. Like changing the to-do list to things like DIS pajama breakfast, Checking FE, etc. I'm still working on sprucing up my original design.

By the way, does anyone remember if topsiders/beach blanket has hot chocolate? I tried calling reservations but they didn't know what hot chocolate was...they said they weren't sure but there are all sorts of pasteries...ANYWAY. Just wondering. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

They have hot chocolate packets by the deck 9 soda fountain.

Alan, if it means anything to you. Everyone on this board that is a cast member can identify. (CMs back me up on this) You see, when you become a CM you actually have to make a stop at the Tattoo Parlor that's in the utilidor. When there you get "CM" tattooed on your forehead in special ink. It isn't usually visible except to guests. That way, it doesn't matter if you're in street clothes or costume, guests will always know who to go and ask questions of, even if you're not in your own park! True story, it lasts forever too, so if it's been years since you were a CM and you're walking in MK with your family, while standing in line someone is bound to come up to you expecting you to know the answer.

Exactly! So Alan, you have to be able to point out the nearest bathroom and tell me what time the 3 o'clock parade is while checking me in for my flight leaving in 15 min and manually checking the flight weight.

Just FYI, Jeff isn't ready to take a list of who is doing the FE. If someone else wants to start the list feel free, but he's not quite ready yet to get it going on the website.

If you did not get a SM assignment - please let me know. If there are some who would like to join in but did not get to sign up by the deadline date - I can assign them only if others join in - if you are interested, please let me know and I will start a new list.

First off the 3 O'clock parade that is easy. It is at 6. Second I can't check you in. I left that department 7 years ago. I am turning over a new leaf. I welcome your challenge. Only 17 more days till top out.

Good morning. We set off tomorrow for Barcelona on the first leg of out TA, departing on Saturday. A little bit tense at the moment, but getting there. Will be seeing Lynne(Orlandothebeagle), and Val(Valbob) on the cruise too. Hopefully another couple on the TA will be booking this one too.

Are there any other scuba divers left? I know that there were only a couple to begin with and I'm struggling to decide if I want to do all 3 opportunities or not. By the way, does anyone remember if topsiders/beach blanket has hot chocolate? Cheri(Notsolittlemermaid) is still on the cruise and she does scuba. I think she might have done some on the last PC cruise we were on also. She doesn't post too much, but you could PM her for info.

Happy Monday everyone. Seems like a lot of happy sports fans on this thread this weekend. What started out to be a GREAT weekend of sports in our house ended in disaster. The Texas Rangers swept the Yankees!!!!!! The UT Longhorns won!!!!! But the next, I'm almost embarrassed to admit I'm a Cowboys fan after last night. I thought they would win and it would be a perfect weekend of sports in my book! Well, what a disaster. I don't think they could have played worse. Yes, I should be embarrassed to be a fan after last night's game.

I called to book the zipline in Puerto Vallrta this morning. Ryan is going to do the zipline and I am going as a spectator. Esmerelda was not there, but I talked to Anna who was so very nice and she even called me back to double check on the time they would be picking us up at the pier. Thanks so much for setting this up. I am sure it will be great!

Last evening I heard Jasmine barking and I knew something was wrong because it was not her usual bark. I went out in the yard, which is fenced in and there was a huge cat which I would guess was three times her size just crouched down stalking her. All of a sudden it took off and she started to run. It turned around and attacked her and she let out a scream that sounded almost human. I ran and grabbed her and started to chase the cat. It stopped on my patio and hissed at me. It is a wonder it did not attack me. It was the most wicked animal I have ever seen. It finally jumped on the side of my shed to the roof and out of my yard. Poor little Jasmine's heart was going a hundred miles an hour. Ever since I go out with her and last night with the flood lights on I was on patrol of my own yard!

Jasmine has been my lifesaver and no one is going to hurt her on my watch!
