From WDW to DL With Love - January 06, 2011 part 3

I shouldn't say that I care about the rotation, although I prefer not to be in Parrot Cay for formal night. It just doesn't go with the mood of the evening. Having said that our second formal night was in PC in '05. I spent the night wrapped in a table cloth because I was so tired. I matched the decor!

Yes they are microchipped, so maybe if a vet scans them later we still might hear something.



We live out in the country, so my DH has been going around on the ATV in the afternoon or evenings.



I can't imagine loosing a kid either.

On a brighter note, we're in one of the newly renovated rooms at the DLH and they are very nice. The headboard has the castle and LED lights of stars and fireworks.

Just booked our Atlantic flights. Will have to book a flight from LA or Phoenix over to Orlando so we can end our trip with a couple of weeks there.

I am really going to try and be better about keeping up with this, but goodness, you guys are so fast! I just wanted to jump on and say we want o be part of the FE. Currently we are a GTY 5C. We will let you know the room asap. Please add us to the list though! THANK YOU!!!!!

Also, I am interested in the PC Certificates, so anxious to hear what we come up with I am also going to be working with tinksmom on the bracelets so we will keep you all posted on that!

Holy Cow It took me 2 hours to get caught up on a week of missing out. I'm really sorry to hear that we've lost people, but I'm excited to have more people coming out of the woodwork! It's a pretty big step (was for me anyway). My big news that I'm excited to share is that I'm working full time for at least the next 3 months! So that means I can actually have money to do things besides sit on the boat eating chicken fingers, tacos and drinking pop. (Beer really is the major upgrade in my plans by the way)

I really am sorry to hear about the lost dogs. I told my toy poodle to not run away when I heard that. People threatend to take him when I brought him to the dog park and would let him run loose. One person actually came up and asked how much for him since her son loved him so much. I was appalled. I just can't see why someone would want to steal someone else's pet like that.

Are there any other scuba divers left? I know that there were only a couple to begin with and I'm struggling to decide if I want to do all 3 opportunities or not. By the way, does anyone remember if topsiders/beach blanket has hot chocolate? I tried calling reservations but they didn't know what hot chocolate was...they said they weren't sure but there are all sorts of pasteries...ANYWAY. Just wondering. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

We are still here. We know for sure we are diving in Aruba and not sure about the other two places yet. When I went to book, Cabo was not available to dive so I booked the sailing regatta and now DH is not sure which he wants to do since it became available in Cabo. In PV we are leaning towards doing the Outdoor Adventure, but things could change there is well. We wanted to dive in Manzanillo, but since DCL did not offer anything we would have to go private and Padi has only two dive operators in the area - one is new, the other gets some terrible reviews lately. So we haven't decided about that one either.

Alright I need to vent again. You know I think I have the only job in the world were people think it is alright to interup what you are doing. I will give two examples of what I mean that have happened in the last hour. First, because our system went down I was figuring out how much my flight weighed by hand. So I am sitting there doing math running the numbers and like four people tried to interrupt what I am doing. I tell them please wait as I am running some numbers for the saftey of the flight and I will be back momentarily. They did not like that answer. The other example is I am sitting in the corner enjoying my lunch (I am about as far away from our office as I can be right now) as I type this and already three people have interrupted me. I just tell them I am having my lunch and when I am done I will be more than happy to help them as the info you seek is not in front of me. That apparently did not go over well either. Sorry about the venting. I get people need info. but really disturb someone while they are eating in a coroner?

It isn't usually visible except to guests. That way, it doesn't matter if you're in street clothes or costume, guests will always know who to go and ask questions of, even if you're not in your own park! True story, it lasts forever too, so if it's been years since you were a CM and you're walking in MK with your family, while standing in line someone is bound to come up to you expecting you to know the answer.

Coroner? You're eating with dead people?
I feel for you Alan, but try being a nurse. Imagine trying to eat in the hospital cafeteria and have a random person come up and ask you if their bowel movements are normal. Or show you various parts of their body and ask if it's normal. That's why I eat in the unit breakroom or my office. When you're in a customer service position you have no privacy. You seriously now can't just be figuring that out or letting it bother you....

That's the God's honest truth. Can't tell you the amount of times Jeff has been stopped. I think it's rubbed off on me as people now randomly stop me and ask me if I work at WDW.

Christiaan is in Alaska right now previewing the excursions which are going to be offered for the Alaska cruises that the Wonder will be doing. So he definitely won't be CD on the TATL cruise next week but who knows for the Panama. If I hear something definitive from him I'll let you all know. I think Christiaan is great.

By the time I am done with my degree I will own every crappy Microsoft program there is. About to give Microcr@p more money for Microsoft Project since my free disk trial has expired and I need it again. Thank goodness for student discounts. Made buying Windows 7 more bearable!

Just a reminder from an earlier thread (I think #2). Jeff and I are making the DIS door magnets for everyone. We haven't even begun the process of designing them yet, so if anyone has examples or ideas we are open.

Jordak on the design thread customized this design for me. If you interested I'm sure he could make it more generic. Like changing the to-do list to things like DIS pajama breakfast, Checking FE, etc. I'm still working on sprucing up my original design.
