Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you all know that we'll be heading up to WDW tomorrow for a bit. Probably will head to Hollywood Studios to see the UP characters before they leave the Studios. Let us know if anyone wants to meet!

Have fun! We'll be down in 2 weeks, can't wait!!!!

 Hey Guys, what are you up to this weekend ? Are you doing anything nice ? It's a Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK, so no work on Monday :yay: Hubby and I are having a shopping day away. We're going to Manchester tomorrow and staying over. We're hoping to do a little shopping, have a few TGI cocktails, then go out for a Chinese meal in the evening

Lynne, have a great time at the Mousemeets convention. We only decided to head to Manchester on Thursday and completely forgot about the meet. Have a great time, and take lots of photos too :)

Have a lovely weekend everyone, whatever you're up to :)

Good Morning everyone. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Nothing special planned. Just hoping to enjoy the sunshine.

No special plans - preparing for DS to come home for a week between 2nd year college and summer school - both catching up and getting ahead - needs 6 credits to be a jr and is taking either 9 or 12. then he goes back and a week or so later DD, future CM on the Wonder, comes home for 2 weeks. hot and sunny today and rain and cool tomorrow. I truly do live in Maryland!

Jealous of all you who are heading to the World. :)

have fun!

Sherri

I am just sitting in the Vegas airport waiting for my flight home. Once off the plane at LAX going to change into my SWA stuff and sit around till my 2:30 shift starts.

:scared1::scared1: - the dreaded page two!

Must be everyone is out and about enjoying their weekend activities. I am sad - all the peeps have left their nest again but I had fun with them while I could. They decided that they all wanted to go to Nachi Cocum in Cozumel for our family outing so there you have it. Really is nice - DH and I were there last November and I think had they picked something on another island, we would have done it again anyway.

So, now that I pretty much have that sewn up - Aruba is next on my list. What is there to do there? Anything not to be missed?

Thunder Beach is over in Panama City. Watching the oil spill very closely says it can get to us and the Atlantic too. Still on the fence about the fish extenders. We are just 2 adults no kids. Is it worth it if there are no kids?

It's just something fun to do throughout. We have kids, but we enjoyed the planning of our fish extender, the gifts we would give, strategizing (sp?) to deliver the gifts in the least amount of time, looking at everyone else's creative FE's, and then of course the part the kids really enjoyed looking at what we got. It's nice to have a little something to look forward to each time you come back to the room. Kinda like towel animals and chocolates- not necessary but fun!

My group is DH and I, and Dsis and her husband and even without kids we enjoy giving out things as well as coming back to our stateroom and seeing what is in our FE. Last cruise even DH got into it

You get so many different things it still fun even without kids. But that is just what we think :)

Aren't we all just kids at heart!

OK, big kids, but still kids :thumbsup2

I went to the creating Keepsakes Convention - it was a BLAST! Think of us while you're at Nachi - we LOVED that place!!!

We're two adults, with no kids (unless you count the teddy bears) and we always do it! It's fun! Preparing for it gives me something to do while I wait for the cruise. I give a lot of the candy to my housekeeper either on ship or at my next hotel, and on the east coast cruises, at least, i've been giving the toys to Give Kids the World, when I take out my bag of toiletries to donate.

We agree! And, if I don't get a room mate, it will just be me and my Teddy bear Dimples, this trip, but we're still doing it!

85 and sunny here. quite a change from last week's 40's.

Hi! I just woke up from a lovely Sunday aftrenoon nap---I got too much sun at the Maryland sheep and wool festival yesterday---I even put on SPF 50 sunscreen! I hope the sun won't be that bad in January on the cruise!

Oh, I do hope that everyone participates in the FE! It is soooo much fun for all ages! I can't wait to see what the final numbers will be---what we include in our goody bags will depend on the number of people who participate. My husband especially likes opening the goodies in our FE---on our special 5-night cruise we received a lot of pirate stuff, cool magnets, and tons of candy----he is the one with the sweet tooth so he was extra happy:)

We offered to be in the group that sponsors the lanyards for this cruise. I know it is only May but I really can't stop thinking about the Panama Canal cruise and all of the plans that must be made---the planning to me is more than half of the fun;)

We are just two 'older' kids and think participating in the FE's is a blast. The talent of my fellow cruises never ceases to amaze me.

I agree with all of the PPs who said that the FE is a blast with or without kids. I have never traveled with kids, but love the FE. I hand sewed mine, had so much fun working on it in anticipation of the cruise. Plus, I love doing the door magnets and the FE along with the magnets just really adds to the decor of the room! And the fun of coming back to surprises in the FE is just awesome- after all, if we are on a Disney cruise, we are all just big kids at heart no matter what age, so who wouldn't get excited at coming back to your room and finding little goodies left there for you?!

We too are looking forward to participating in the FE exchange again. I made our FE last year and plan to just change out the word "Magic" for "Wonder" and reuse it this year. I wanted to make a new one but I had to borrow a sewing machine to make my other one and the neighbor I borrowed it from moved. I don't sew so it's not worth buying one just to make a FE. I did consider hand sewing one but I know that will take a LOT of time. Oh well, I don't mind reusing it! I'm making the gifts for the kids, teen girls, and women. Just have to decide what to do for the men and older boys. I guess candy or snacks will always work :goodvibes

Home from Flying Pig Half- Marathon in Cincinnati it was very wet- but a very fun weekend.

Yup, hand sewing did take a lot of time, which is why I'll keep reusing mine : ) I did have a friend at work who does embroidery so she embroided Mickey's head and "Cruising with Mickey" on it, and then I actually got these great felt sticker letters to put on our names for personalization (both because I liked the personalization and because it deters thieves from snatching it). The stickers are awesome because I can change them to reflect who goes on the cruise with me each time I reuse it.
